I still have Choice,Foster,J.Harrsion, and McClain just in case the injury keep on keeping on. :D I have a belive that all things will equal out.

At least TJ showed up this week.
Again it's a long season, if it were over after week Two, Eddie Gills and myself would have been dancing in the street.

By the way Eddie nice start.

Once you agree that everyone has the same basic information then it's simply a guessing game yet some folks still want to call it skill.

Quick....I'm thinking of a number between 1-10...what is it?

Those of you who guessed 7 must be some of the most skillful number guessers I've ever met. Maybe they should start a thread huh!

That's pretty much what I think of FF right now SNAKE! FF is a game of skill, isn't it?
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

I'm sure others have had far worse luck than I have and I don't mean to cry the blues but this is new territory for me.

I've never had a problem getting jacked up for football before. Do they make a type of Viagra to give ya a woody for football again because I need some inspiration. Jeff, if this hobby is bringing you down, then definitely take some time off. But I think I know what's ailing you. It's the combination of your favorite NFL team losing on Sunday's at home along with your fantasy football teams struggling along with the economy going bust along with on and on. It's fun when the fantasy football team can pick you up when the job isn't going well or the Colts are losing, but when those teams are just as depressing then you are right it's time to drink or time to walk away.

I'll say that after EVERY Packers' loss I hate life. Hate waking up. Hate going to work and hearing everyone talking about the Packers' loss. Hate looking at my fantasy football teams and seeing Ronnie Brown on my bench. But then the next week rolls around and another set of games awaits me. It's a good feeling.

Hang in there and keep plugging along. The season is a long one and lots can change in a hurry. But when it's no longer fun for you, then definitely find something else to do.

...simply curious Comrade Jeff but who do you have that went down?...SNAKE Colston this year. that coupled with the fact that I feel like an absolute idiot for falling in love with Z.Miller plus the Colts loss yesterday have me fairly deflated.
...but Jeff every time SNAKE claims this game to be "educated guessing" and 60/40 skill/luck he is shot down by The Powers That Be (Greg A.) & chartered members of The Chum Chum Club (Billyboy, John Zzzzzz, etc.)...hehehe...SNAKE
Who has quit their job and is making a consistant living year after year playing fantasy sports?

To that person and that person only do I tip my hat and toast them as a person of skill.

The rest of us are hit and miss because fantasy sports are more luck than skill.

BTW...I'm a charter member of my own chum chum club. I may be the only member but I don't lose any sleep over it.

One thing that does pick me up reading news is seeing that Kitna is hurt.. (not that i want to see anyone hurt per se), but put another dam qb in there and get the ball to your 2 studs for god's sake.. put johnson and williams on denver, on packers, on saints, on cowboys witha good qb, and watch what happens.. i used to like him HE FRIGGIN SUCKS .. I DON'T HAVE HIM, BUT I HAVE WILLIAMS AND IM TIRED OF SEEING 3 CATCHES FOR 30 YARDS. IM BENCHING WILLIAMS.. I'D RATHER GO WITH LLOYD AND THE EVER IMPROVING CHICAGO BEARS.

Route C,

You are a good guy, a solid fantasy player and I have enjoyed reading your posts here over the course of the last 5 years.

Obviously, things get frustrating when things do not go your way in fantasy sports. Also, as Snake has mentioned, injuries just suck the enjoyment of participating. These are things that are out of your control.

I suggest maybe you do what I did for this year and that was not reading into all BS and hype of all of the websites in the summer leading up to the draft and use your own logic as a fresh approach. That is what I did this summer.

Furthermore, the use of the ADP lists should just be a tool to see where players are being selected by the masses. Ofcourse, you should probably adhere to them in the first few rounds but don't let these scripted lists stop you from reaching for players a little sooner than what the lists are saying. Alot of people are drafting on last years results and what the "experts" are saying...

For example, look at guys like Ronnie Brown & Willie Parker. They went from the 1st round to the 3rd round and well beyond that. That goes for any position.

I don't think their is any iron-clad formula to be successful other than having a well thought out game plan prior to the draft, some luck with keeping healthy, and the ability to make smart moves using the waiver wire. Once you have a "playable" team, then the questions of "who do I start" comes into play....I have yet to master that but hopefully will get better!

At any rate, best of luck for the rest of the season, I hope you turn it around and have some enjoyment watching your players do well from here on out.

Lastly, I hope to see you back next year, and better than ever!

I am just guessing weber that you didn't have the same feelings when Calvin had a great game last week receiving.......from Kitna

Jeff - sorry about the pain of Colston (and others) and the hopefully temporary lack of enthusiasm for your FF teams.....hopefully there is one player or team that rekindles your passion with it, as we would miss anyone of your caliber not being here to share the joy....and pain of our FF endeavors.
