Just for fun and totally off the top of my head here would be my Top 10 at every position for 2006, excluding rookies and assuming no free agent changes teams:

QBs
1. Carson Palmer
2. Peyton Manning
3. Donovan McNabb
4. Tom Brady
5. Matt Hasselbeck
6. Eli Manning
7. Drew Brees
8. Trent Green
9. Jake Plummer
10. Brett Favre (assuming he returns)

RBs
1. Shaun Alexander
2. Larry Johnson
3. LaDainian Tomlinson
4. Edgerrin James
5. Tiki Barber
6. Clinton Portis
7. LaMont Jordan
8. Rudi Johnson
9. Cadillac Williams
10. Stephen Jackson

WRs
1. Chad Johnson
2. Steve Smith
3. Torry Holt
4. Larry Fitzgerald
5. Marvin Harrison
6. Anquan Boldin
7. Terrell Owens (could move up depending on where he lands)
8. Darrell Jackson
9. Plaxico Burress
10. Hines Ward Nice lists Tom!

The two biggest shockers to me are NO Randy Moss (isn't he "grandfathered" in the top 10? ;) ), and Donovan McNabb at #3. McNabb will be a TRUE wild card next year without T.O, coming off an injury, etc.

I know you didn't do rookies Tom, but can't we already put Reggie Bush in for 2,000 total yards in his rookie year?

did the owners bidding the following amounts this year give someone an advantage? if so, why isn't anyone complaining? last year numerous folks bid $900+ on lamar gordon (bust), was anyone complaining about the unfair advantage (as you state)? BBDS would mirror FAAB. people may overbid in year one of BBDS but then would gravitate towards more realistic dollar values as time goes on...JUST LIKE IN FAAB! FAAB and BBDS are really the same process, one allocates free agents, the other draft slots.

this year's top free agent busts...
Ron Dayne 951
Antonio Chatman 884
Antowain Smith 834
Antowain Smith 821
Tyson Thompson 753
Antowain Smith 726
Keary Colbert 716
Antowain Smith 713
Antowain Smith 701
Tyson Thompson 689

alexander
LT
LJ if priest is gone

Will any QBs be drafted in the first round this year? I don't think even Manning will go in the first round this year.

If we had bbds bidding, to get one of the big 3 next year , i would consider 800 to 900. You see the wasted money , gordon showed us on free agents. To have alexander , and 100 to 200 of free agent money for the year , i could live with that. How often do you get an impact free agent , not often. This year GADO was the best.
BBDS I COULD GO WITH IT.
