With the Bears Defense and MVP Julius Peppers going to rack up the sacks on Brees I highly doubt that the Bears will lose by a 20 spot, please!!

All depends which Bears D shows up, is it the one that allowed that enemic O of the Jets to look like an offensive juggernaut or the one that stymied the pack last week. I think last week was the exception, just a feeling but if they get down early, Cutler will be generous and provide a pick six of his own to give me a 20+ cover...

Of course the way the NFL has been, NO will allow six turnovers and allow two special teams scores to the Seahawks and not even make it to Chitown lol.

[/QUOTE]I agree. Now I KNOW Glenn knows more about football than anyone else!! :D How do you predict that Seattle will beat New Orleans?? Crazy. I thought -10.5 wasn't enough. Just crazy.

This is such a crazy year that it would be appropriate if two No. 6 seeds meet in the Super Bowl. Oh, that would be the Jets vs. Packers. Okay, that wouldn't be bad, right Glenn?!! :D

Let the games continue today. What a wild first day. Good luck all and thanks again.

Please change my Ravens pick to the Chiefs. The Ed Reed situation, plus the fact that something like 88% of the money is on BAL (-3). Easy money.

I'll stick with the Packers in the second game.

Jets-Packers indeed. See you in Dallas, Greg.

Jets-Packers indeed. See you in Dallas, Greg. Glenn, you just jinxed yourself. Never change a pick...it always backfires. Did I mention I bet on the Ravens?

Secondly, Ray Lewis will turn this into a "we're all your brothers" thing and they will play even more inspired football.

I think Weis leaving for Florida is a bigger negative.

It'll be Patriots-Falcons in the Super Bowl, by the way.

But hey, what do I know? You have a history of kicking ass...

That could be the worst defensive player performance I've ever seen from a player (PORTER on the Saints). He got burnt for every TD, fell down trying to tackle Lynch like a girl (no offense to tough girls). I'd swear he tried to throw the game after making a deal with a bookie.
