BBDS DraftChampions Signup for Aug 29th!

Some people are interested and wanted another date ... so here it is.

See the other BBDS DraftChampions Signup for more details. Remember this is a team you do not have to manage (I know I have too many teams too). You only need to draft it and your done! Fun of the draft without the problems of maintenance.

If you have any questions about the BBDS format ... please ask questions on any of these threads. This is new to all of us (especially the BBDS Draft Champions) as these are the first BBDS DC leagues and I have not been in any of the FAAB BBDS leagues which use this concept and would like to try it.

Here's the signup list for the 29th ...

RedRyder, Follow Me and Hook ... please reconfirm if you are still in this ... or get in the other one if you like ... I would like to see this one be a 100 winner take all ... or a 250 three placer please list preferences in order if you willing to do multiple formats.

I'd like to get in.

I'd prefer:

1.) $250 - Pay Three
2.) $75 - Pay Three
3.) $100 - Winner Take All

I'd like to incorporate 2 leagues into the Gekko III format. Why not start a Super Satellite league? Low entry fee could turn into BIG prizes!! let me know what you think. thanks.

Here's the details for the Super Satellite...
Hello everyone. I hope the offseason is treating everyone well.

Draft date – Not sure yet. Possibly thinking about Saturday, Aug 26th, Monday, Aug 28th, or Tuesday, Aug 29th at 7pm.

Entry fee – Does $250 sound good?

Teams – 28
Two separate drafts would be held simultaneously on mockdraftcentral. 14 teams in each draft. Greg would get the pool of 28 owners and randomly split them into two leagues. With that said, an owner could even purchase two teams (one in each league), if they were good enough to draft two teams at the same time. After the drafts were over, all 28 teams would be put in the same league! WOOOHOOO!! Super Satellite time!!

Prizes –
We aren’t playing for chump change here, and winning a measly $100 or $200 doesn’t do anything for me, nor should it do anything for you. With that said, let’s only pay out the top spots (no charity cases).

Based on 28 teams and a $250 entry fee...
prize pool would be $28 x $250 = $7,000 x 90% = $6,300
1st place = $3,600 (throwing up $250 to win $3,600 is sweet!)
2nd place = $1,700
3rd place = $1,000

How many rounds are the draftchamp style? Optimum lineups, right?

Question? Do the BBDS and DraftMasters concepts really belong together? Does it matter if you have any FA $$ left in this format unless you are bidding with real dollars that go into the winners pool.

I would be "IN" for a two league, 28 team challenge as stated above. Tues the 29th would be the best day for me of the choices listed above. I could not draft that Sat or Sun preceeding the 29th.
