I have created a link on the registration page for the $125 slow draft league. It is labeled the June 11th $125 slow draft league. You MUST register for this league in order to get set up so please sign up ASAP so we can get this league ready to go.

Thanks much.

Hopefully this one moves faster...
...SNAKE likes to think of it as rather hissing and kissing than "whining and moaning" but even you must admit, and sdtated more than a few times yourself Comradess Jules, that current $50 Sleeper Slow Draft is like watching a clock go tick-tock for about an eternity....SNAKE
It's brutal. There are a few drafters who sucked the life out of this one, unfortunately. Such a radical difference from the gamers DC and $125 DC draft. I guess it's the low ante $50
The participants are the ones who have to make sure these Slow Drafts remain enjoyable and informative. At times, it takes one of the owners to be the leader and take charge of the league, encouraging owners to be ready when it's nearing their pick. Maybe someone should encourage a night when most of the owners can get together and bang out 5-8 rounds at a time. Get together in the Chat area and talk football for a bit.

Honestly, when this happens and when a league has a leader these Slow Drafts work better and everyone enjoys them better. I trust that we have one or two owners in the next $125 Slow Draft who will do just that. And if that hasn't happened already in the $50 Slow Draft that is being talked about here, maybe one or two of you owners should take charge, ask for some cell phone numbers and get this one moving.

I have no problem if you're getting through two rounds a day and they last 16 days. It seems slow, but what the hell, it's June. When you're only getting through one round per day, that's TOOOOOOO slow. That's when you or I should keep this moving.

But again, these are YOUR leagues and anyone who signs up for a Slow Draft should be courteous enough to make two picks per day. But the real fun is getting together one night during the week and talking football with 14 other like-minded fantasy die-hards and banging out several rounds. The Chat area is like your social network of football for 32 rounds, so enjoy it. I could force the issue, but this is YOUR league.

Good luck all and hopefully one of you can take charge of that league and finish strong. I trust that there will be no problems with this next $125 Slow Draft.

We've really tried to organize nights where everyone gets together, calling people on the phone, etc. Ours is still slow as heck.

What about making the window to pick something like 4 hours or so, but only from like 8am-10pm?
just an idea.

just an idea. No, that isn't the answer. What we need is 14 owners taking enough responsibility and desire to draft on time. In looking at the three $50 drafts we have going on right now, two are averaging just over two rounds per day and should finish in 14, 15 days. But this last $50 draft is in Round 8 after six days. Someone should PM me to let me know what the holdup is and I'll contact that owner or owners to get this moving. Everyone was excited to get in that $50 league, so let's move that one along a little better. Thanks.

Again, I trust this $125 Slow Draft will be just fine. I'd be surprised if that one isn't done in 12 days or less.

Again, 2+ rounds per day isn't a great pace, but it's a normal pace. Getting together one night to bang out a few rounds is what makes these feel faster. When we're at one round per day, that's when we have problems and I should be contacted. I'll put a bug in everyone's butt to get a little more serious about this draft.
