I said all summer the Panthers would not have drafted Stewart if they believed Williams was starting material. Stewart is the guy they want to be the starter; I believe he's the more talented RB and I believe he will soon start becoming the primary focus of the ground game. Williams will still have his role, but Stewart should be the guy for the Panthers as long as he can stay healthy.

For sure CINCY will fire Marvin Lewis after their week 7 blowout loss to PIT. Is it possible to get a new coach and new playbook in sync over the week 8 bye to give Palmer/Housh/Chad/Perry/Watson good production the rest of the way ?? Can that ship be righted ?

Antonio Bryant.

Not too shabby after a long layoff in week 1 going 3-for-43, but then a zero in week 2.

With Galloway possibly gimping along and Hilliard steady but aging I would have thought that AB would at least be a "part" of the gameplan.

Can you even envision flex status out of him at some point going forward or could his non-factor last week have been the result of more disturbing behaviour that landed him in Gruden's doghouse?

I don't think the ship will be righted completely but I simply can't believe that three Pro Bowl players (Palmer, Housh and Johnson) will play this poorly all season long. I think the best bet among them to reach his ADP is T.J. At some point, Palmer just has to start throwing the ball to him so the receptions should be there at least.

I think Hilliard will be the guy who benefits the most. It was blatantly obvious in Week 2 that Griese isn't much more capable of getting the ball to a big-play threat than Garcia was (hence the meager 2 receptions for Galloway before he got hurt). Bryant is a big-play type of WR so I don't think he'll be consistent enough to count on. Hilliard, though, will keep working the underneath routes where Griese is more comfortable throwing the ball.

The offensive line has issues and that's where it all starts. But I also think Palmer is a big reason why the team is playing poorly. He simply isn't playing well. He's making bad decisions, he's throwing poor passes and he's killing his receivers. He needs to start playing better and given his talent level there's no reason to think he won't.

I NEVER ignore players completely in drafts because every player represents value at some point. But I had two players who I crossed off my lists before every draft I was in this year:

Javon Walker
Ahman Green

I saw 0 value for them this season.
