This is Doug from Fantasy Football Review. If your team name is on the list below (particularly near the top), can your provide me with the owner's name corresponding to that team. This will help us compile our 2006 fantasy football world rankings, which take input from all the major contests. Your name could be on the list this year!

If it is out of other "national contests" (not local leagues where half the participants are drunk by the 3rd round ), I have a feeling my name might find it's way on this list.
How bout you Snake?

Hey Doug,
My name is Carlos Perez and I bring fantasy football pain and suffering to my foes. I partner with a local buddy of mine, Brian Rich, to form the Ponch & John squad which finished as the runner-up this year in the Consolation bracket. We actually had a higher point total than the Championship bracket winner, ! We're also 16th in the NFFC Lifetime Standings. I was recently invited to join the 3-City Challenge which will be a 2006 NFFC satellite league comprised of 5 teams from each city, (Vegas/Chicago/New York). The teams involved are a combination of past league winners, the 2004 Grand Champion, and others with past NFFC success. As for my individual efforts, this year I had two teams in the AFFL Silver League, one ended up league champ, the other 2nd place, which put both teams in the Silver League Championship. They ended up in 2nd and 4th place respectively, out of 528 teams. My 2 years in the NFFC, and this year in the AFFL have been my first forays into the world of high-stakes fantasy football, but I now know that I can more than hold my own. I don't know how I stack up against some of the high-stakes veterans, but I'm looking forward to throwing my hat into a few more high-stakes events and bringing home a fantasy football grand championship! Thanks for the time,
Carlos Perez

Ponch: that sounds promising. Is there a place I can find the final season standings for AFFL for any previous season? I don't have any experience with that particular contest. I assume you have no WCOFF experience, or none to speak of.
CHIPS was one of my favorite childhood shows. I would probably think it's stupid if I saw it now.

Doug,
After reading your post yesterday, I logged onto the AFFL site, but Neil,(head honcho at AFFL), has the login disabled until a certain date. I'll contact him and see if there is any way to view past standings. I do not yet have any experience in the WCOFF, but that will be remedied this coming season, as I am looking forward to the 12-team league format, and sheer size of the event. So for 2006, beyond my local league, I'll be storming the NFFC with my partner in crime, Brian Rich, and flying solo in both the AFFL, and WCOFF. In the meantime, mock drafts and daydreaming of potential sleepers will have to suffice!
