Tom, if someone won the NFFC entire event one year, and made sure everyone knew he was the absolute best fantasy player in the NFFC, and then didn't make the playoffs the following year, would he still be taken seriously? Or would the 2nd year considered a fluke? Or even more so, would the first year be considered the fluke?

hammer, I like Leftwich quite a bit potentially. He needs to be more consistent which is why I don't view him as a QB1, but I do like him as a backup -- especially if you have one of the top QBs.
As far as the Texans, I like their offense potentially but they need to do a better job of protecting Carr (which they are trying to do by utilizing shorter drops and more quick-timing routes) and he needs to become more consistent. Johnson is clearly a stud talent at WR but they don't have a solid No. 2 and they need more out of the TE position. They're a work in progress still, but they're getting there.

Diesel, as long as he invests the $100,000 wisely I think he'll end up having the last laugh for a very long time.

Me neither. Personally, I like Carolina to come out of the NFC. Injuries cost them a legitimate run last year. Delhomme seems like he could potentially develop that winner-type quality that Brady has patented.

Carolina's my Super Bowl pick in the NFC.

tom - if you were an owner in the nffc and started the season with hopes of making the playoffs, and then by week 10 you're team was out of the running, what type of feeling do you think you'd experience? frustration? sadness? disappointment? rejection? loser?

I'd be disappointed Gordon, but I'd immediately start analyzing where my season went wrong so I could make the necessary corrections in the 2006 NFFC.
