Week 9 Sit/Start

Post by King of Queens » Wed Nov 02, 2011 3:13 pm

Too early for this? :D

One of the toughest Sit/Start decisions I've faced in a long time. Need to start 7 of these 11 players, including at least 2 RBs, 2 WRs and 1 TE:

Rashard Mendenhall (vs BAL)
James Starks (@ SD)
Jackie Battle (vs MIA)
Michael Bush (vs DEN -- let's assume DMC is out)
Santonio Holmes (@ BUF)
Brandon Marshall (@ KC)
Julio Jones (@IND)
Malcom Floyd (vs GB)
Eric Decker (@OAK)
Aaron Hernandez (vs NYG)
Fred Davis (vs SF)

starks will be running out the clock
battle ,kc is made him their work horse
holmes (Lt and green are not the same this year)
floyd(should face single coverage, chargers should be playing from behind)
hernandez(the pats are pissed)

on a side note I do believe mendenhall has 7 straight games against the ravens with a touchdown :D :D

I would definitely go with:

Michael Bush
Brandon Marshall
Santonio Holmes
Aaron Hernandez
Fred Davis

The other two are tough. I would lean towards Julio and Mendy. I can't see going Floyd and he is erratic and I can't see going Decker as Tebow is erratic. :D But Battle would be the other consideration out of this group if you didn't go Mendy or Julio.

I agree with Wayne. For me the only decision is between Mendy and Battle...although I'd probably still go with Mendy as Miami's run defense has been pretty decent lately.

Hey Glenn
RB Starks Bush
WR Holmes Jones if Healthy Floyd
TE Hernandez
Other 2 Battle and Davis if healthy if not Jones
Marshall wiil see Flowers all day Think if Jones plays I would play Floyd instead of Davis Davis is only option for skins and I think he blocks more due to line injuries and SF Defense will make sure that the only skin weapon is Davis and will blanket him all day Just an opinion

what do you guys think about this:

I need to fill one spot w/ either:

Pierre v. Tampa (let's assume Ingram is out)
or
Hernandez v. Jets

or Jordy at SD (I really haven't even considered starting him, but let me know if you would)

Would anyone consider starting Sanchez over Romo this week?

Flex -

Gaffney (vs. SF)
Garcon (vs. ATL)
Cruz (@ NE)

Was thinking Gaffney but disappointed that he didn't get more targets last week so Garcon and Cruz are my other options.
