YTD ADP & Actual Positional Ranks

I love how the # 1 rb and #1 wr weren't even in the top 20 at their position. (though Foster should have been.)

Yeah, Foster was 22nd, probably because the NFFC ADP data includes more than the last week or so of drafts before the season started. I don't recall. Maybe Greg or Tom can clarify how far back it goes? If it's more than the last week's worth of drafts, maybe they can provide an update that would be more reflective of the environment during the main event live drafts (i.e. just the final week of drafts)?

After 6 games, it's interesting how things have played out, namely that top WRs are not performing to expectations as much as RBs are. I have to give credit to GK for being one of the first to suggest to "zig" this year and build your team around RBs. I wonder if he actually DID it though?

YW Wayne. BTW, try the tabs at the bottom of the pages. On the player pages, the links are active to Sportsline.

Mike....Thanks for spending your time to do this and sharing it with the NFFC community.

Steve Johnson...Brandon Lloyd..Peyton Hillis and Kyle Orton are easily the biggest surprises along with the R.Moss disappearing act.

Looking back on the draft......taking a QB early hasn't paid off in 2010 but I don't think it was a mistake to draft a top TE. Other than the injuries to Clark and Finley this is easily the the position most ADP consistant.

If Finley/Wayne don't get hurt the the top 5 are made up of the same top 5 on draft day. I think that's pretty interesting data.

The other thing that stands out is rookie RB's. Not too much to get excited about so far although M.Williams is making a nice splash at WR and D.Bryant might not look too bad after a few more games to build his stats.

Very nice work. Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks Route. Glad you like it.

The biggest frustration for me is that (a) I'm used to RBs not meeting ADP expectations and we draft accordingly (usually wait til round 4). But this year, there are a lot of underperforming WRs and QBs too. And (b) the WRs that replaced many of the projected top 20 have come from waaaay down in drafts or off the wire. It's like we just played 10 weeks with "wildcards" (which I despise in poker!). My hat's off to those who drafted solid cores AND hit on these wildcards; they're probably among the best teams. But I'm afraid there are probably also many top teams who have been CARRIED by their wildcards.
