Tom,
I am flying out to Indiana for the weekend and thought I would get things started early. Maybe I can peek at all this later.
-Your guy. Pats go undeafted or no?
-Do you factor in weather much when putting together your lineup? I certainly do and just wondered if others did.
-What are you hearing locally about Grant. Is he playing? Is he out? If he is out will Morency play more or will Jackson step in with Morency staying as a 3rd down back?
-Right behind A. Johnson owners, waiting to throw up into the toilet, are D. Branch owners. Count me as one of them as he was one of my favorite WR's going into this year.
-Do you know anything about D. Bowe? Is he a reasonable play this week?

Hey Tom
I will be out most of friday as well.
A couple of quickies since I am trying to hold on to win NY#2.
Griese at Oakland or Bulger at New Orleans if thumb was still not the issue would go with Bulger since I have reaped so many rewards with him.
Do you think Dallas Clark will play Sunday night?
Drew Bennett vs Calvin Johnson would go with Calvin based on what coaching staff has been saying but Detroit seems to have balanced their offense out with emergence of K Jones and if Gray can throw at will against Saints than Bennett and obviously Bulger are the plays.
Thanks for input
Marty

Tom - if you had to pick up a free agent quarterback just for this week, which of the bottom of the barrel choices do you think could have a nice game this week?

Tom,
I just read on "GekkoWorld" that Javon Walker may need more surgery in the offseason and if so, he may not be ready for the start of 2008!
It sounds like his knee injury is a lot more serious than was originally led on (do you agree?).
Finally, do you think he will return in Week 11 (like it has been speculated), and will he help his owners down the stretch?

FYI - owners holding walker are wasting a valuable roster spot.
Let's see him run, make cuts, then practice b4 thinking he has a chance at returning this year.

Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

1. I think they go 15-1.
2. I don't worry about factor too greatly unless it's heavy winds and a kicker. I never sit a good player because of weather but if the players are comparable in talent I may give the player an edge in the better weather as long as his matchup isn't worse.
3. Sounds like Grant will play but Jackson will also be involved. I'd expect to see all 3 RBs for the Packers this week.
4. I like Bowe a lot. Not sure I like the matchup against the Broncos, though. I'd expect to see a lot of the running game in that one.

Marty 1. I like both QBs this week; slight edge to Bulger.
2. We'll know more about Clark today. If he doesn't practice I'd expect him to sit.
3. I like Bennett as a sleeper this week. I need to see Johnson actually be involved in the passing game before I'd feel comfortable starting him.
