Okay, if you have any further questions, bring 'em on as I'll be around for the next hour before playing hoops. Tomorrow I'm off to the Brewers' game for a little fun and then it's off to Los Angeles on Friday for the NFLPA's Rookie Photo Shoot. Should be a wild few days.

Greg, you do some pretty cool stuff with some very interesting people. If/When I win the 100K, can I tour with you?
Okay, back to football...
*Have we seen the last of Kevin Jones?
*What the hell happened to Lee Suggs?
*Are Jeremey Shockey's days numbered in NY?
Thanks.

Okay, I do want to briefly touch on one subject today, but I'll write a column for Rotoworld.com on this later today. In case you haven't already noticed, the high-stakes marketplace is getting more and more crowded. Competition is great and I welcome all new companies to any area of the industry. The live events area is a vibrant business and I can see why folks want a piece of the action.
From a consumer's viewpoint, you have plenty of choices this year. WCOFF is expanding to a fourth city this year and could add a promotional partner as well. We've added NBC Sports as our promotional partner and a second live event called NBC Sports' Fantasy Football Championship. Then there are no fewer than THREE other live events being announced in different areas, all with guarantees of being different and better. Good luck to one and all, I say.
But I'll also say that it's a "buyer beware" market out there. There are no guarantees that all of them will be successful. In fact, it's unlikely that all of them will be successful as the market may not be big enough to support everyone. Those who have promotional power behind them stand the best chance of success, but nothing is guaranteed. Nothing. So do your homework this year, make the right decisions and for goodness sakes pick an event where you'll have the most fun and be guaranteed the money when the season is done.

Hey Rob, ESPN Radio 1000 contacted me last week to help them again with their Fantasy Football event in 2008. Tom and I will help them with their drafts again this year as it's being held Aug. 22-23 in Lombard. Plan on joining us this year if you can as last year was a blast. Jack Haan drafted there and Geoff and Jason from MockDraftCentral.com joined us for SEVERAL beers on Friday night. Brian Swaw was there as well. Should be a fun, fun time.

Thanks. Sure Marc, I need a partner on my trips anyway.
You know what the funny thing is, I try to separate work from home, so I rarely even discuss what I'm doing on all of these business trips with my family. They just know what city I'm in and when I'll be back. I told my wife the other day that I go to some pretty interesting functions and that maybe she and/or the kids should tag along sometime. They looked at me like I was nuts!!! What, pull them out of beautiful Iola for Manhattan??? No way!!
As an ACL & MCL victim of the 1970s, I feel for Kevin Jones. That dude is now so injury prone that it has to be tough for him to bounce back and be a factor. I see Tom is taking a chance on him in a lot of drafts, but I see a permanent limp and little chance for success in 2008.
Lee Suggs and Willie Green are lumped together forever. Enough said.
I see a lot of NFL writers saying that Shockey is staying in New York, that the Giants love his blocking ability. But I'd trade him while he still has some value. The Giants are a better TEAM without that whiner and Boss can get open just as often as Shockey. I think at some point this year he will be out of New York.

As I mentioned yesterday, I find the 6-14 spot in the first round to be incredibly interesting. Just looking at the KDS preferences for the early drafts, you can see that 1-5 is pretty well set and in any order I can see Tomlinson, Peterson, Jackson, Westbrook and Addai going in most of our drafts. But after that is a crapshoot.
Okay, who would you take at 6??
Where would you take Brady??
When does Moss go??
How many RBs go in the first round??
For the record, our Top 15 for the magazine is as follows:
1. LT2
2. Peterson
3. Steven Jackson
4. Westy
5. Addai
6. Frank Gore
7. Larry Johnson
8. Tom Brady
9. Ryan Grant
10. Randy Moss
11. Marshawn Lynch
12. Marion Barber
13. Terrell Owens
14. Reggie Wayne
15. Braylon Edwards
