Tom how does the prize payment work; do they just credit my account or send me a check? As of 2/12/10, my balance shows zero on the fantasy 911 site.

Thanks,
Paul Spradling

I sent several email messages to their site asking the same question. Have received no reply. Starting to wonder if the site is legit. Given past experiences, would not be surprised to find out that no payment is forthcoming. Biggest problem in fantasy sports.

I won money in this contest a few years ago when the Giants beat the Patriots in the Superbowl. I got my prize money around 3 weeks after the Superbowl. If a contest is run through the NFFC, you know the money will come. Even if fantasy911 went out of business today, you'd still get a prize check from the NFFC.

One of the reasons I play the NFFC is that I don't have to worry about getting a check from them. The NFFC is a first class organization. I would have no problem referring anybody to the NFFC if they were concerned about getting paid. The excellent service and willingness to help are also good reasons to join the NFFC. I know that I will be back next year.

With that said, I had no experience with Fantasy 911. I had not received any replies to the emails i had sent them about getting paid. Nothing was posting on their web site. Had they replied to my email messages with a simple answer I would not have posted on this forum.

John, I definitely understand. After the fantasyjungle.com demise, everyone has to be careful which contests they join, now more than ever. I think Tom Hatfield runs fantasy911. He's had a good record working with the NFFC for a few years now. But even if he didn't make good, my opinion is Ryan, Greg and Tom would make good on the prizes promised, one way or another. I think, with Fanball taking over, and teaming up with Greg and Tom, the NFFC is going to try and eventuallu do everything "in-house", and do less nd less using other sites' services as they go forward.

Congrats on winning this year, John, and everyone else. If Favre didn't throw ANOTHER season ending INT, I would have been in the top 4. But that's the way it goes in fantasy!
