RotoPlay Wins Week 5 Prize

Post by Tom Kessenich » Tue Oct 10, 2006 2:11 am

Congratulations to RotoPlay in New York League 7 for taking the top spot in the NFFC last week with 158.70 points.

Big weeks from Donovan McNabb (34.8) points and the Philly defense (23) led the way. Greg Jennings (21.5), Frank Gore (18.7) and Reggie Brown (17.9) also delivered strong production.

For finishing first last week RotoPlay wins a Ryan Moats autographed photo courtesy of Upper Deck Authenticated. Congratulations again to RotoPlay and good luck to everyone in the NFFC this week.

Blue, it is the journey that matters not the end result. Leading this group of FF Fanatics for one week would be satisfying in and of itself and the Moats Autographed Photo is icing on the cake.

Nice Game Rotoplay.

Great job Roto!

Nice try TCH....I told you Denver would dominate and that you would win but Rod Smith stole your thunder...

Blue- I just wanna win one high score for the week...in 2.5 years I have come close 3x (recently this past week) and haven't won because I chose "the wrong player" to start....

I am not talking about the obvious moves but the middle of the road type roster management moves...

(Started J. Cotchery over Maurice Drew Jones Week 5 , 2006 which cost me 9 points and first overall !!!)

If and when I do get weekly high scorer...I will appreciate anything I get....even if its a Ricky Williams autographed bong with the Argonauts logo on it

I gotta admit, it was realy cool winning a week. With all the quality competition in this league, it is certainly not an easy feat.

Due to his play, I have wanted to throw my autographed Michael Vick football out the window on more than one occasion.

However, I normally come around and just spike it real hard! :D

Nice job Rotoplay!! :D

BWazz-

If you ever get tired of that ball, I will gladly take it off your hands.

I've been called a dirty bird once or twice in my day!

I had my one chance and saw it slip trhu my hands.

I have to admit that I was already looking to see which week(s) I would win it AGAIN. ;)

The week we play for that Art Shell "Autographed Notepad" (he is always friggin writing in) will be the week that I DO win it. One can dream.

I must be the most misunderstood writer of BS on this site! I am not suggesting in any way that RotoPlay did not kick ass against some very tough competition. I doubt I will ever win the high week. But, if I ever do...I think a autographed Vick football (or even a Ricky Williams autographed bong)is more fitting for such an achievement than an autographed Ryan Moats photo. Heck, my $100 entry league with 12 teams from last year gave away autographed mini helmets each week. Yeah, some of the signatures were lame...just what we could get ourselves at preseason games...but it beats a Ryan Moats picture. I think RotoPlay deserves more! Now, I know that you guys are sensitive about any challenge to the operators of the league. And, I am willing to admit when I am wrong...I have been in the past. But, I am not a suck-up...never have been, never will be. I call it like I see it and this was a lame prize! The NFFC can and should do better. Just my opinion...nothing more, nothing less, and I am no authority. It just seemed lame (to me)...thats all. OK, I said my piece....fire away guys!
