8 1 Nick Folk K Lucky Dogs

Jules is a Dirt bag and makes my luck.

The Cutler pick would fall under the "luck" part John, as NO WAY Cutler should have fell that far. He obviously wasn't a target for you, or you would of taken him well before that.

Cutler went in the 4TH of my league.

It definitely must be luck!

Derek "Lumpy" Anderson That's pretty impressive. Do you know how many
leagues you entered overall during this time frame?

There always will be dead money!

I hope I get luckier with league placement this year compared to last year.

I ended up in the showcase leagues in both events of the BWazz vs Z-man battle.
That was brutal.

Derek "Lumpy" Anderson Now that is a lot of luck! :D

(You know I"m just kidding you.)

I believe the skill is putting yourself in position to win. Once there you definitely need some lucky breaks for it to happen. So my take on it is that it takes some luck to win one particular league but it takes a LOT of skill to put together the track record that Derek Anderson has. Does that make sense?

Thanks Wayne.

I like our track record too.

Kyle and I have never played in the WCOFF.
Someday maybe we will.
Then we can get lucky again and maybe make the top 3000 list of fantasy players in the world.

Last year (2008) we drafted Brady in a DC ( a live $650 DC league where we have no free agency pickups to replace a QB when they are lost like Brady ) ... and we won the league in spit of the loss of Brady.

One pick does NOT make a team IMHO

I will tell you there is no luck in having Lynn Renfro (last yr) and Derek and Kyle (2 yrs ago) sitting to my right at the draft.
