Wednesday's Live Chat Starts Now

Hah, I hope that's the case. I'm already in six or seven fantasy football leagues and I'm running seven fantasy baseball teams badly, so how bored can I be?

But seriously, even though I'm running the two high-stakes events, I'm having fun running my other fantasy teams as well. I'm just not in the WCOFF or NFFC (can't legally) or anything else. But I'm enjoying myself in fantasy sports better now than ever.

Greg, had Randy Moss been available at #13, would you have taken him instead?

Yes, I took him 10th in another league and still got Kevan Barlow in the second round. Then I took Lee Suggs in the third round (gamble maybe) and DeShaun Foster later. I'm not sure that's strong enough to contend for a title, but I couldn't let Moss go at that point. Would Domanick Davis and Barlow been a better 1-2 option? Maybe. But I also got Matt Hasselbeck in that league and Chris Chambers and Larry Fitzgerald, so I should be competitive.

Hey Greg, what do you think of Rich Gannon? Is he going to be the starter for the entire year and do you think he's got enough left in the tank for great fantasy numbers?

P.S. See my private message please!

In the NFFC Mock Draft that we had here and that will be publicized in our next issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine, I found the guys who picked 13th and 14th to be very interesting. Stephen Nover picked 13th and took Rudi Johnson and Fred Taylor (16th). Solid picks. Ken Magner drafted 14th and took Torry Holt and Terrell Owens. I thought Ken's strategy was interesting, but if I were going to go that way I'd probably take Holt and Harrison. Wouldn't it be interesting, though, if you had the chance to take Moss and Harrison 1-2?

Yeah, yeah, I know you'd be weak at RB, but wow that would be a lot of WR points at 1 point per reception. It will be interesting in the NFFC to see if anyone takes that combination or even gets the chance to take that combination.

Man, I just don't see Gannon or the Raiders bouncing back, but that's just my opinion. Tom is convinced that Gannon is the starter, but then why did they go out and give Collins a three-year deal? That's a risky pickup and I must say I don't think I have a single Raider on any of my teams right now. Oh, I take that back. I have Jerry Porter on like four of them. He's the only breakout star I see here, unless Fargas gets the playing time to shine. Just my two cents, though, so what do I know?

My thoughts on Moss exactly. You can't pass him up for second tier running backs you can get in the second round.
