6 Players Make Fantasy Sports Insurance List

Anyone who paid for their NFFC Primetime, Classic, Auction or DC teams and designated one player for free insurance this year will be compensated if they had any of these four stars:

Andre Johnson (missed 9 games)

Darren McFadden (missed 9 games)

Jahvid Best (missed 10 games)

Jamaal Charles (missed 14 games)

Kenny Britt

Knowshon Moreno

FSI will send out checks covering 25% (I think that is right, I'll check for sure) of your entry fee for those leagues. At least its some compensation for the rough injuries.

Players had to miss 9 or more games and be part of FSI's list of players at the beginning of the year. If you think someone else should be added, let me know and I'll check with Henry. Otherwise, we'll process the insurance papers and get these checks out. They will come directly from FSI. Thanks all and sorry about the injuries.

I believe Kenny Britt should probably be included, though I don't know if he was eligible or if anyone utilized the insurance on him.

Good news on this as at least I'll receive some compensation for Jamaal Charles destroying the seasons for a couple of my fantasy squads. Thanks.

Yes, Kenny Britt should be included if anyone claimed him. He was on the preseason list.

Correct, Britt and Moreno are on the list, but nobody from the NFFC picked them with their insurance policies. That's why Henry didn't list them, but I will above. Nice catch, but unfortunately nobody benefitted by their injuries.

Is there any way to find out who we declared? I can't remember either and had Andre Johnson, Best and Britt.

I like this Tweet from NFL.com's Michael Fabiano this morning from one of our injured guys, Jamaal Charles: "My recovery is going well. Tell the fantasy folks im coming back stronger and faster too."

Thanks for the update Jamaal.

Glenn - I lost Jamal too, but my sharp working brain told me to insure Wes Welker (he had "neck" issues). Fortunately, a waiver pickup named Victor Cruz helped me win my league anyway. However, the insurance would have added a few more bucks...
