good point. dilfer should be good this week as well vs the pack. the true test is how will he perform against a team with a defense above the college level Same can be said for Willie Parker. Last week and this week he's running against Mt. Fujiyama School for the Blind, but the 5 weeks after that will not be as easy.

After watching NE run a lot of 4 wr spreads against Oakland and watching Cleveland do the same against Cincinnati, it's obvious Romeo is going to try to run the same offense as NE. So yes, Frisman is a nice pickup but you are going to have the same thing in CLE as you have in NE, trying to figure out who, other than the #1 wr (Branch and AB) who will score consistently, will get the targets. GG knows this which is why he has Northcutt. TamuScarecrow,

I believe that your above point is very well thought out. I agree with most of what you have said. I would respectfully DISAGREE however, that Frisman Jackson is the #4 WR in Cleveland. He caught 8 passes and was targeted at least double digit times. IMHO that makes him (CURRENTLY SPEAKING) Trent Dilfer's #1 or #2 option. (UNLESS OF COURSE YOU BELIEVE THAT TRENT HAS ENOUGH TIME TO MAKE 3 or 4 DOWN FIELD READS BEFORE HE PASSES). LOL

Same thing happened in NE, WINNERS, as Troy Brown was the #2 receiver last week yet he is #4 on the depth chart. Just as Tom Brady exploits the best matchup he sees, Trent Dilfer will do the same and he obviously liked what he saw opposite Frisman Jackson last week. Question is will that be the matchup he likes the best this week?

Cleveland Targets:
Antonio Bryant 10 targets
Dennis Northcutt 9 targets
Frisman Jackson 9 targets
Braylon Edwards 5 targets
Steve Heiden 5 targets
Reuben Droughns 3 targets

This also proves my comparison with NE offense as Dilfer spread the ball around. As GG indicated, Dilfer and company should do well with GB this week and I am expecting a high-scoring affair so I may start both Frisman and AB in my GEKKO league matchup this week.
Targets were:
Frisman 9
A.Bryant 10
Heiden 5
Droughns 3
Edwards 5
Northcutt 9

I didn't see the game. So from these numbers, It looks like they really tried hard to shut down Northcutt. 4 of 9 targets, only 16 yds.

and this left Frisman open as they simply gave him no respect. 8 of 9.

One more thing...

I wouldn't bid more than $10 for him. They didn't draft Edwards to be a #4 WR.

In a month or two, Bryant, Edwards and Northcutt will be getting 90% of the WR targets.
Northcutt had 4 catches with a long of 8??? So he had 3 catches for 8 yards??? That is absolutely ridiculous!!!

That's what is so great about America. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Now you say that Frisman Jackson is not worth more than $10 dollars (bid that is).

Well...

In my league (which is New York #1) the "runner-up" bid was 201 dollars. Which meant that in order to acquire Frisman (in my league) you had to have bid at least $202 dollars. Obviously, I did NOT know this in the blind bidding process. I bid $404 dollars which I believe is an "OVER-BID" (TOO MUCH). However, the net result is he is on my team and he is NOT on your team. He is also NOT on the other 13 rosters in my league.

Frisman Jackson is on TEAM WINNERS...that may be a good thing or it may be a bad thing...only time will tell...MY point is that I had to bid a lot of money to get him on my team because I needed a starting WR and I like guys who catch 8 balls for 128 yards and score a TD in Week #1. To me that means that there is a POSSIBILITY that Frisman Jackson can be a top 20 Fantasy scoring WR in this system this year. The POSSIBILITY also exists that I paid far to much and he will end up significantly underperforming his Week #1 stats the rest of the way.

BOTTOM LINE:

"If you want to win, you have to put Frisman in."

IF THE ABOVE STATEMENT IS TRUE THAN I CAN PUT FRISMAN IN AND YOU CAN'T.

The dollar could be more valuable than the euro one day. Heck, the state of Indiana might eventually have only one time zone. But Frisman Jackson a Top 20 receiver? I'd put that towards the bottom of the list of unlikely but possible events.

But hey, you did what you felt you had to do. Kudos to you!
