Admit it, with T.O. only needing 6.2 points in the 4th quarter, you were cringing every time McNabb let the ball go in the 4th quarter. :D
Ha! - certainly wasn't too comfortable, but I didn't think you'd pull it off without a TO TD, and the Atl D didn't seem like they were gonna give 'em the big play.

DALLAS COWBOYS RECEIVING
................ REC.. YDS.. TD.. LG
P. Crayton...... 6.. 89 ...1 ...32
K. Johnson...... 5 ..65... 2 ...25
T. Glenn .........3 ..42... 0 ...15
J. Jones.......... 3 ..18 ...0... 14
J. Witten .........1 ..12... 0 ...12

IT CERTAINLY WOULD APPEAR DURING WEEK #1 THAT PATRICK CRAYTON WAS DREW BLEDSOE'S NUMBER ONE OR NUMBER TWO LOOK (PASSING OPTION).

I SURE DO LIKE HAVING GUYS ON MY TEAM (LIKE CRAYTON) THAT CATCH 6 BALLS FOR 89 YARDS AND A TD!

Ugly Yellow Tomatoes,

Our teams look remarkably similar, don't you think???

I am not yet convinced that we did the correct thing by selecting a QB in the 1st round. However, in a scoring system that awards 6 points for a passing TD it MIGHT have been justified???
Our teams are similar ... but I think if you take a QB in round one ... you need to take RB's in round's two and three. If Manning throws 45 TD's ... you will need L Johnson to produce. We need either JJ Arrington or Benson to produce. You have a bigger up side. I am deeper at RB.

I think it IS justified ... which is why I did it. If he throws even 45 TD's this year. We should win our league.

I squeeked by the first week with a two point win even though we got zero's from Pittman, Clark and 5 points from JJ (not to mention Balt Def held Manning to 2 TD's and Stover missed 3 FG's!). I think we will do better this week.

Any team with manning on it will be hard to beat in weeks he throughs 4 TD's or more ( and he averaged over 3 last year ).

My Manning team will be interesting to say the least. One thing I have to say about your team is ... if you make the playoffs ... Manning could win you 100,000 bucks if he gets hot weeks 14 - 16! Not too many players can carry you to 100 large!

You just have to get there!
Ugly Yellow Tomatoes,

Well..

Certainly both of us just became big-time Peyton Manning fans this year!!! I wish you the best of luck the rest of the way...

Go back and re-read your last post and count the number of times that you used the word "IF." (I counted 4 times you used "IF") LOL

I am fond of using the expression:

"BALLS", said the Queen..."IF I HAD THEM I WOULD BE KING."

Yes I agree with you that Peyton Manning can almost single handily win you the $100,000 "IF" he gets hot in the playoffs. BUT I ALSO AGREE WITH YOU "THAT YOU HAVE TO GET THERE FIRST"!!!

All I am saying is that we both took a big risk by passing on a STUD RB by selecting Manning in the 1st Round with the 5th overall pick.

Only time will tell if we will be ultimately rewarded for the risk we both took.

Best of luck the rest of the way,

WINNERS

I think we should create the annual "Frisman" award for the guy who spends the most FA$ for the least points. Hey, they're not gonna win anything else, don't they deserve something for their generous contribution?

I think these 'rogue' picks and FA bids are wonderful.

Really now, Dilfer threw for over 300 yards today - no reason to think Frisman couldn't be one of the top 10 WR in football, etc.

Dilfer is a machine in that offense and Frissy just has to put his arms out.

I only have about 200 pts. on this season after week 2 is wrapped up. I'm sure Winners is doing better than I am so maybe I should watch and learn ;)

WINNERS I hope for your sake that Crayton has a big game. That said, I'm expecting a heavy dose of Julius tomorrow night -- and not much passing.

Good luck!
