Gordon Gecko's Hostile Takeover Of 5 Spot Inc.

Gordon Gecko,

The man, the myth , the legend. Winner of $100,000 playing fantasy football. We all realize this is a kid who was the king of Dungeons & Dragons in his youth, and now the rest of us must rip apart draft sheets and tear apart VBD & ADP just to get an inkling, a simple idea of what this legacy may be thinking for the 2005 NFFC season.

Given the 5th spot in the main event NFFC and then going out there and WINNING the 5th spot using his blind bidding master approach, we should all be lead to believe that Mr. Gecko has a card up his sleeve for his "coveted 5th spot".

Looking @ mocks, listening to the consensus, we have seen that its almost a lock that LT2 and SA will be picks #1 & #2 across every board come Saturday.

So what does 5 Spot Inc. have in regard to assets, debt ratio, long term EPS, and such a low P/E ?

This analyst take a look @ the possibilities @ 5-

Peyton Manning - We think that GG will steer clear of Peyton. We can almost guarantee, if available, this is not the pickup round #1.

Priest - With the emergance of LJ on the scene and an almost guarantee that the handcuff would be @ 5.05 , we dont forsee this as the answer.

Edge - Probably the most legit guy and would explain GG's favortism to the top of the draft preference.

Deuce - Hmmm...Last 2 years have been fantasy dissapointment for Deuce owners (ahem)...risk vs reward , could pan out

Domanick Davis - GG hated him, wanted to fire DD as acting CEO for his company last year....not gonna be on the board of directors this year for ole GG.

McGahee - Possible,,,but not really probable

So we are gonna guess EDGE if available.

Round 2.....where MOST Likely...all of the teams from 7-14 will be RB whores....GG will NOT see anyone in the coveted top #19 RB....that is why its guaranteed his first pick will be a RB ! Unless one of the bottom of the piles fall to #24 , (Lamont Jordan or SJAX) we gotta believe that GG will take a #1 WR here. Possibilities - Torry Holt or TO.

Round 3 - One of them rookie RB's? Naah , GG will find someone more suitable in the 4th round....so that leaves him with ole reliable, Mr. Tony Gonzo...and if he aint there...say hello to Gates!

There u have it folks...a breakdown of the GG brain trust.

And as I mentioned, GG will NOT make the playoffs in main NFFC, but...

caveat emptor

GG is drafting @ 13 in ultimate....where his loving pass catching RB's will sit pretty for him....and I will say that this is league to win.

EDGE / TORRY HOLT / TONY GONZALEZ

That is the prediction, folks !

And ofcourse a cheap QB in the 6th round .....hehe

All this attention Gordon and all this pressure of being the defending co-champ. I hope you're up to the challenge of 279 other owners -- including your co-owner from last year -- gunning for you. :D

Portis was 11th last year in total PPG for RB's....but he didnt perform up to his ADP.

He can only get better this year, right ?

So we can put Portis & Deuce in the same category....both WILL be there @ #5 for your taking.

Most importantly, give us your thoughts of #24. You obviously would take ANY of the RB scraps that come to you there...but if the league is on the money.... 19 RB's , 2 QB's and 2 WR's will be lifted.

Holt / TO / Marvin ?

Also, tell us the truth....any D & D during the puberty years ? Be honest!

And also...with the teenage wasteland reference from Baba O'reilly and your ex-partner being the Dead head....will you take a few tokes from the clown head Grafix bong before the draft ?
