I think everyone was putting in their best effort and not worrying about anyone scouting our tactics. I know that Tom and yours truly were giving it our all, although five Vikings and Bears on my roster is just assinine. What was I thinking? Oh, well, Culpepper was too good to pass in the second round, even though I despise anyone in purple.

Gordon is taking the sinister view of life these days and painting everything black. That's an easy brush to paint with, but it doesn't work here. As for the famed Dyv-Gekko partnership, I worry for both of their safeties on that one.

Besides - this draft wasn't for the hard liners it was for....well....you know!

A good time was had by all (except for that little mishap in the beginning where Dyv showed up 10 minutes late).
It's a good thing I missed that first pick - I wouldn't have taken Deuce... had Moss in my sights and then would have (?) gotten Harrison in the 2nd round just to have a little fun

Never tried that kind of strategy before and was curious how it would work...

[/QUOTE]You can hold that view if you'd like. I would be surprised that the 14 guys in last night's mock draft agree with you, though. I think we all learned a bit from the spots we each had. Lots of complaints from the back end, moaning from me in the middle and cries of joy from Tom and Lou. But I think it was all interesting and I'm not sure anyone was there to fool guys like you who were able to look at the results. They volunteered to be more prepared on Draft Day.

Besides, I was ripping everyone in the Chat Room. That was worth the price of admission alone!

Kudos to CreativeSports.com, which is promoting this draft in its pre-season Draft Kit. They have been spreading the word about the NFFC and its 14-team format and we appreciate it. The signups are coming from all over the place and we appreciate all of the publicity and support.
