Free Agent Bidding

This is my first year with the free agent bidding, how much does a typical free agent go for? There is someone available that I would like to get, but I do not know how much to bid. Thanks.

I answered this one yesterday: Nobody on the boards will help you with this, so do some homework by looking up last year's bids. If you go to the General Discussion thread, you'll see in the upper right-hand corner a pulldown area that now says "Show Posts From Last 45 Days." Pull that down to "Show Posts From Last Year" and then look up all of the FAAB bids from 2004, starting in September and going through December. We list all 12 of them from Weeks 2 through 13. You will quickly notice that the bids are different for each league, but it will give you an idea of how crazy some guys went early on.
