Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
Johnny Frisella of Exeter, Rhode Island had one of the most successful seasons in the NFFC last year and he's back to improve on those finishes in 2006. Johnny has been a member of the NFFC since 2004 and last year he teamed up with Eddie Gillis to lead the RI Workhorse & Eddie G team to a first place finish in New York League 5 with a 10-3 record and 1,746.85 points. The team won $5,000 for the league title and finished 23rd in total points, before finishing 20th in the Championship Round with 517.78 points. RI Workhorse then won the New York Auction League, finishing third in the regular season with an 8-5 record and 1,629.6 points, before winning all three playoff games for the $3,350 first place prize. RI Workhorse also finished third in the New York Draft Champions League with 2,309.15 points, earning another $575. Great job, Johnny. He's returning for all three events at the New York Hilton on Sept. 1-2 and is even trying to drum up enough interest for a $1,250 Auction League in New York. I'm game if we can get enough owners to do it in New York. Welcome back, Johnny, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize, the $4,250 Draft Champions League prize and the $4,000 or $8,000+ in Auction League prizes.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
I promise to update this thread on Monday; I'm just running behind with another fantasy baseball magazine deadline and an incredible run of signups in our high-stakes baseball contest. But we added more signups over the weekend and it's good to note that we already have six signups for the Chicago Auction League. I think those guys had some fun in that league last year and many are coming back for the competition. Thanks guys.

Let's give it up for a new team that has joined the growing NFFC family as the tag team of Jose Lopez and Reyes Lopez has signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Stardust Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Jose and Reyes are new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome them with free gifts and free drinks! It's obviously these guys are dedicated players as they are signed up and ready to win the grand prize right now. Welcome aboard, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Thanks for the warm welcome Greg. We're already looking forward to the draft. One slight note is that it is Jason and Reyes, not Jose. You'll definitely be hearing from us in the future. Can't wait for Sept 2nd!

OK, we're going to give out a bunch of welcome backs today. And we'll start with a welcome back to Mark Moyer, who is taking part in three of our events -- the Ultimate, the $1,250 Auction and the $1,250 Draft Champions events in Las Vegas. Mark had a great year in 2005, finishing first in the Ultimate regular-season race and winning the Las Vegas 1 Auction League. We're glad to have Mark back and wish him good luck in the hunt for first place in all of his events.

Another NFFC vet is back in the fold as Rick Thomas will return in 2005 to take part in the festivities in Vegas. Rick will be taking part in the main event as well as the Ultimate and $650 Draft Champions events. Rick had a fine year in 2005, taking home the title in Las Vegas League 6 and the Las Vegas Draft Champions 2 League. Welcome back Rick and good luck in the hunt for the top prize in your leagues this year.

Don Thompson will be back in the Windy City in 2006, taking part in three events - the $650 Auction, the $650 Draft Champions and the Main Event. Don's best finish in 2005 was a third-place result in the regular season of the Chicago Auction League. We're happy to have Don back for this year and wish him the best in the quest for first place in his leagues in 2006.

It's not often that a breakup is cause for celebration but in the NFFC we're not going to complain when two co-owners part ways -- as long as they both remain in our event. That's the case with Joe Fitzpatrick, who has been teamed with Don Thompson in the past but is going solo this year. Joe has signed up for the $650 Auction and the $650 Draft Champions events in Chicago. Welcome aboard Joe and good luck in both of those leagues this year.

Chicago auction owners take note, the defending champ is back. We're happy to announce that Jim Wiseheart - who took home the $3,350 first-place prize in the Chicago Auction League last year - is back to defend his title. Welcome back Jim and good luck in your quest to win back-to-back titles in 2006.
