It's great to have Mark Lally back in the NFFC fold for 2006. Mark struggled to a 6-7 record in Las Vegas League 3 last year but will be back in Vegas to do better this year. Welcome back Mark and good luck in the quest for the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Carlos Perez has called us "the t*ts." Greg and I are pretty sure that's a compliment (at least we hope it is ) but we like Carlos quite a bit and we're happy he's back to take part in the Main Event in Las Vegas. Carlos finished second in our Consolation Bracket in 2005 but he's gunning for bigger and better things in 2006. Good luck Carlos in the hunt for the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Rob Benetti was part of our New York League 8 in 2005 but this year he's staying in Chicago to take part in the Main Event. Rob finished 10th in his league last year but is aiming for a stronger finish in 2006. Welcome back Rob and good luck in the hunt for the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

It's not even free-agent season but our returning members are eager to jump back into the 2006 event. Ronald Kraus is back in the fold and will be competing in Vegas for the Main Event, Draft Champions and $1,250 Auction League. Ron struggled to a 4-9 record in the Main Event last year and the Draft Champions but had a solid 8-5 showing in the Auction League. He's aiming for bigger and better things in all three events in 2006 and we're happy to have him back. Good luck in all three Ron.

We're happy to welcome back another returning member as Frank Mammola will be back in the Big Apple in 2006. Frank's team went 7-6 in New York League 6 in 2005 but he's aiming for the top prize this year. Welcome back Frank and good luck in the race for the $5,000 league prize and $100,000 grand prize.

I'm glad to see that we're still getting new signups even though many of us are knee deep in baseball right now. Let's give it up for the arrival of our newest member of the growing NFFC family as Sebastian Falsone of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has signed up for the NFFC's main event on Saturday, Sept. 2nd at the New York Hilton. He becomes our 11th owner in New York for the main event and the 38th overall as he joins our events for the first time. welcome aboard, Sebastian, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're glad to welcome back Marc Quitsch of Staten Island, New York back to the NFFC's main event as Diesel did just about every single NFFC event last year except that one. He's already diving into the auction leagues, the satellite leagues, the three-city challenges and just about everything else we're offering, but now he's adding the main event back to his resume. After a one-year hiatus from our $100,000 competition, Diesel will return and draft at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Welcome back, Marc, and best of luck in the hunt for the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Pete Lukowicz of Manalapan, New Jersey has been a member of the NFFC family since its inception in 2004, having drafted each year in New York. But this year we hooked Pete into Las Vegas for the National Fantasy Baseball Championship and he's returning to Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 2nd for the NFFC's main event. Pete led his 100G-Just-4-Me team to a 5-8 finish in New York League 7 last year and finished 92nd overall with 1,598.05 points. His team then finished 56th overall in the Consolation Round with 497.48 points. We haven't hooked Pete yet for the Ultimate Draft League -- I said yet -- even though his Ultimate Victory team finished seventh in the league last year with a 6-7 record and 1,530.35 points, just missing a playoff finish. For now, we welcome Pete back to the NFFC's main event and wish him best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Chad Silverstein of Columbus, Ohio has been a loyal member of our National Fantasy Baseball Championship the last three years and after our live draft last week, he started to inquire about the NFFC. He liked the format so much that he signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Stardust Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and added the Ultimate Draft League as well. Chad becomes our seventh owner to sign up for the Ultimate Draft League as we move closer to filling up our first league there. Welcome aboard, Chad, and best of luck in the hunt for the $37,500 in prizes in the Ultimate League, the $5,000 league prize in the main event and the $100,000 grand prize.

We're under a month until the NFL draft, which means football fever is starting to build. With that in mind we're happy to welcome another new sign-up to the NFFC family as Helen Mclean from Coppell, Texas will join the fray in New York, signing up for the main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Welcome aboard Helen and good luck in the hunt for the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize. Helen has also signed up for the $650 Auction League in New York on Friday, Sept. 1st. Good luck in both events, Helen.
