Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
Let's give it up for our 67th returning member from 2005 to sign up for the 2006 NFFC main event. A hearty welcome to Greg Morgan and Dillon Gibson of Westerville, Ohio is appropriate as they will be joining us once again at the Oakbrook Marriott in Chicago on Sept. 1-2 for a pair of events. They will again compete in the NFFC Auction League on Friday, becoming our 10th signup for that event, and will return on Saturday, Sept. 2nd for the NFFC's main event. Last year, the Concrete Bucket Breakfast team finished 8-5 in Chicago League 4 with 1,481.65 points, placing 187th overall, before placing 71st in the Consolation Round with 488.93 points. Greg finished third in the Chicago Auction League as his Team FKA Team Morgan went 7-6 with 1,584.35 points during the regular season, winning their first round playoff game and the Consolation Game to earn $725. Welcome back, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize and the $4,000+ in Auction League prizes.

We're glad to welcome back another original member of the NFFC family to our 2006 event. Sal Turdo of Sayville, New York competed in the 2004 NFFC, but scheduling conflicts prevented him from competing last year. Sal and Steven Turdo are now back for our third season, having signed up for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Welcome back Sal and Steve and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. We're bigger and better than when you first joined us, but the good customer service remains and so do those first drinks on Draft Day!!

We're glad to welcome back yet another returning member of the NFFC family as Paul Clein of Germantown, Tennessee has signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Paul led his Shrink Attack team to a 9-4 record in Chicago League 5 last year, tying two other teams with the best record. His 1,668.85 points were second best in Chicago League 5, which earned him $2,500 and a trip to the Championship Round. After finishing 47th in total points during the regular season, Shrink Attack finished 13th in the Championship Round with 534.28 points. Congratulations on a great season, Paul, and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
Neil Hassett and Rich Abramovich of Nissequoegue, New York had a great first season in the NFFC last year, finishing third in New York League 7 with an 8-5 record and earning $500, but they want more than that this year. Their Aces High team finished 66th overall in total points with 1,639.05 and was in line to earn a trip to the Championship Round before losing out on the final playoff spot in the final week when another team leapfrogged them for the best record. Neil and Rich are now signed up to return to the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd and they have their eyes set on the grand prize. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
It's always a good sign when teams that struggled last year are one of the early signups for 2006. Let's give it up for the tag team of Andrew Diem and Chris Palochko of South River, New Jersey, who have signed up for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Things got so bad last year in the NFFC for Andrew and Chris that they changed their team name to Our Team Stinks, which it did while finishing 3-10 in New York League 6 and placing 277th with 1,218.9 points. But they can change all of that this year with a strong finish, so we wish them best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're glad to welcome back our 71st member from the 2005 NFFC main event to the 2006 main event as the tag team of Robert Jurney of Dunkirk, Maryland and co-manager Joseph Rawlings will be joining us this year in Chicago. Robert and Joseph competed in Las Vegas last year, but will be joining us at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Friday, Sept. 1st for the $650 Auction League and on Saturday, Sept. 2nd for the main event. They become our 11th Auction League team in Chicago, leaving us with only three guaranteed spots left in the Windy City. Last year in Las Vegas, Team Dunkirk finished 4-9 with 1,276.85 points as it finished out of the playoffs in the Las Vegas 2 Auction League and Team Dabigu just missed a playoff spot in the main event as it finished 9-4 in Las Vegas League 2 with 1,524.8 points, placing 153rd overall. Best of luck this year in the Windy City guys as you battle for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize and the $4,000+ in Auction League prizes.

Jim Wiseheart of New Albany, Indiana is already signed up for the NFFC Auction League in Chicago and now he's going to try the Draft Champions League on Friday, Sept. 1st as well. Jim and his wife LeeAnn won the Auction League last year and hope to have the same success this year in both of these leagues as he studied the Draft Champions format and liked it so much that he signed up today. We now have 11 signups in the Windy City for the Auction League and 10 for the Draft Champions League. Good luck Jim and LeeAnn in the hunt for this $4,250 league prize.
