Greg,

If we do get 14 for Chicago, will that be the league?? What I mean is if, by chance, you get 14 additional signups (i.e. 2 leagues) would you throw everyone's name in a hat (ala "the main"), or will the first 14 to signup be put in a league together?

The reason I ask, is I know many of us in Chicago joined the auction because we wanted to go against each other. Good question as we haven't had this luxury in Chicago before. Yeah, I can see the comraderie in Chicago, which is why we have so many early signups for this auction league. I have no problem closing this league with the first 14 as it will be mighty tough to get a full second league there. Anyone who signs up after that would have to realize that and be put on standby, so we'll keep that first one intact. The Chicago Draft Champions League will also likely close out early as we have 11 signups right now, another nice luxury we haven't experienced in the Windy City before.
[/QUOTE]And this is just ANOTHER reason why you have your loyal customers returning for life!!

Thanks Greg! :D

We're glad to welcome back our 75th returning team from the 2005 NFFC main event to the 2006 main event as the tag team of Brian and Gary Henn of Ronkonkoma, New York has signed up for the Saturday, Sept. 2nd draft at the New York Hilton. Brian and Gary had a shot at the $100,000 grand prize last year as they led their Bubba's team to a second place finish in New York League 1 with a 9-4 record, placing 33rd overall with 1,721.5 points. That earned them $2,500 and they unfortunately failed to add to that as Bubba's finished 38th with 462.33 points in the Championship Round. Great job guys and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We now have 10 signups for the New York Auction League as NFFC veterans Eddie Gillis and Glenn Schroter have signed up to compete at the New York Hilton on Friday, Sept. 1st. Eddie needs revenge on his Big Apple peers as his Auction League team finished out of the money last year with a 5-8 record and 1,394.85 points. I think Johnny earned bragging rights in that league, Eddie! :D Glenn was in the 2004 NFFC Auction League, but saved up all his money last year for the Ultimate League and didn't make it into the big city for this one. He returns, knowing it's time to cash in a football auction league! :D Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000+ in league prizes.

We're glad to welcome back another NFFC league champ as the tag team of Scott Gunaca and Mike Williams of www.fantasyjungle.com will return to Chicago on Saturday, Sept. 2nd for the NFFC's main event at the Oakbrook Marriott. Scott and Mike led their Jungle team to a 12-1 record in Chicago League 1 and $5,000, placing third during the regular season with 1,897.45 points. The Jungle then won another $1,250 in the Championship Round by placing fifth with 551.81 points. These guys are also eighth in the Lifetime Standings, so they mean business. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Because of business reasons, Chris Litsey is switching from the main event in Las Vegas to Chicago. We'll miss ya in Vegas, but good luck in the Windy City, Chris.

We're glad to welcome back Ron Kloeden of Colgate, Wisconsin to the NFFC as Ron will be joining us at the Stardust Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 2nd for the NFFC's main event. Ron joined us for the first time last year and led his Fresh Outta Lollipops team to a 7-6 finish in Las Vegas League 1 with 1,591.75 points, placing 99th overall. Ron just missed third place money by four points, but he came back strong in the Consolation Round and earned a free NFFC entry by placing fourth with 578.60 points, earning that honor by a 0.8 point cushion over the fifth place team. Ron returns to Las Vegas this year and may even add some side events later. Welcome back Ron and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Something wild is happenin' in Chicago as we've now filled up the Chicago Auction League and we have only two open spots left for the Draft Champions League. Let's give it up for the return of Phillip McDonald of Huntsville, Alabama, an original member of the NFBC and NFFC who has signed up for all three events this year in Chicago. Phillip competed in Las Vegas last year as his Team McDonald finished 6-7 in Las Vegas League 3 of the main event with 1,443.15 points and was eighth in the Draft Champions 2 League with 2,183.5 points. He signed up too late to compete in the Auction League last year (which he loves), but grabbed the last spot in Chicago this year and will return for the Draft Champions League and the main event. Welcome back Phillip and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize, the $4,250 Draft Champions League prize and the $4,000+ in Auction League prizes.

Now lets pick that auction draft order!! :D

I know it really doesn't matter, but I would prefer a seat next to RC, so I can see the look on his face when I steal and jack up the price on all of his players!

Okay, it's official: After two years of dominating the Chicago Draft Champions League, we've finally convinced the tag team of Mike Ferre and Daryl Lechniak of Peoria, Illinois to join the NFFC's main event. Instead of being those nice facilitators with the pretty girls behind them, Mike and Daryl will now be the cut-throat owners that we've known to love and admire in past years. They are now signed up for the trifecta, having already signed up for the Draft Champions and Auction League in Chicago. Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
