Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?

Hiya Greg,
Do you have an accurate figure of how many signups we had exactly at this point LAST YEAR ?
I am rooting for the 350 and wanna see if 174 more to go is doable!
Best of luck,
David We are more than a full league ahead of last year's pace, but we also have more returning members to choose from this year than we did a year ago. Remember, we had 224 members in 2004 and 280 last year. Right now we have 121 of those 280 teams signed up for 2006 and our retention rate was over 70 percent last year. Just doing the simple math, I trust that at least 75 more teams will be returning for the main event and then we'll need to get just under 100 new teams to fill it out. It's possible and I like where the final numbers are going to land.
Interest in the auction and Draft Champions Leagues are up and we should fill up an Ultimate League soon. Couple that with more interest in satellite leagues and we might actually turn a profit this football season!! That would be something!
Now if we could just get that FI$HER team signed up....

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We're glad to welcome our newest member to the growing NFFC family as Chas McHaffie of Rancho Sante Fe, California has just signed up for the NFFC Ultimate League on Sunday, Sept. 3rd. Chas is a veteran fantasy player who found our NFFC recently and gave me a call this morning to discuss everything. He was impressed with the setup and will likely be doing 2-3 events with us at the Stardust in Las Vegas. We now have 11 owners in the Ultimate League and should fill that one up shortly. Welcome aboard Chas and best of luck in the hunt for the $37,500 in league prizes.
Just as a side note, the tag team of Rick Hart and John Perrin are back in the NFFC Ultimate League after I took them off the list briefly. Something about John going to a wedding that weekend got in the way of more sensible heads, but the schedule changed and now our favorite sons are back for the Ultimate League competition! Welcome back my friends!

We now have nine owners signed up for the $1,250 Auction League in Las Vegas as Bill Ezzell of Bedford, Texas has added this event to his weekend of fun. Bill is already signed up for the Ultimate League, main event and Draft Champions League and has become our 25th owner to sign up for the auction league in Las Vegas. Bill is also interested in moving up from the $650 Draft Champions League to the $1,250 Draft Champions League if we can get 14 owners for that one, too. Thanks Bill and best of luck in the hunt for the $8,000+ in auction league prizes.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We're glad to welcome back another returning member from 2005 to our 2006 main event as Dennis Murphy of East Rockaway, New York will be returning to Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Dennis led his Murphy's Law team to an 8-5 record in Las Vegas League 6 last year, placing 41st overall with 1,693.1 points. However, he just missed a money finish and a shot at the Championship Round by a few points as LV6 was mighty tough last year. Murphy's Law then finished 50th overall in the Consolation Round with 504.84 points to finish out a solid season. Welcome back Dennis and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
It's always good to welcome back one of our original members of the NFFC family as those guys were the ones who supported us when the NFFC was just a wild idea. Let's give it up for Anthony Cifelli of New Egypt, New Jersey, who just signed up to compete again in the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Anthony led Team Cifelli to a 4-9 record in New York League 7 last year as it finished a respectable 125th overall with 1,563.25 points. Team Cifelli then finished 78th overall in the Consolation Round with 484.10 points. Welcome back Anthony and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We're glad to welcome back another returning member from 2005 to the 2006 event as Larry Schechter of Rexford, New York is back and competing in two events at the New York Hilton. Larry, who is the only two-time Diamond Baseball League champion in CDM's historic game, has signed up for the NFFC's main event and becomes our 12th owner in the NFFC Ultimate League. Larry will draft from New York on Sunday, Sept. 3rd as we should fill up that Ultimate League soon. Best of luck Larry in the hunt for the $37,500 in league prizes there. Larry led his Air Lar NFFC team last year to a 5-8 finish in New York League 5, placing 164th overall with 1,515.4 points. Air Lar then placed 35th overall in the Consolation Round with 522.37 points. Welcome back this year Larry and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
