Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Jul 30, 2006 5:48 am

Now that's the way to keep the ball rolling. We now are starting on our 15th main event league thanks to the arrival of our newest NFFC member. Let's give it up for Jean-Paul Hanna of New York City as he is joining us for the main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. This is Jean-Paul's first venture into our high-stakes events, but we promise to show him a great time and get him with a great group of owners. Thanks for your trust and support Jean-Paul and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Dominic Cristelli of Tampa, Florida becomes our 199th signup for the NFFC's main event as he is returning to New York with co-manager Anthony Borowicz for another shot at the $100,000 grand prize. Dominic led his Blue Falcons team to an 8-5 record in New York League 4 last year, winning $2,500 by placing 19th overall with 1,754.2 points. The Blue Falcons finished second in NY4 in total points and then finished 28th in the Championship Round with 482.34 points. Great job Dom and good luck again this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Brian Zeid and Jerry Sloan of Aurora, Ohio will be in Las Vegas on Labor Day weekend with buddies and have signed up for the NFFC's Ultimate League on Sunday, Sept. 3rd. We already have 14 for the first league, but you can never stop trying for a second one! :D Brian and Jerry will be our first alternate for the Ultimate League or the start of our second league as we still have four weeks to go until the signup deadline. Keep 'em coming and let's fill up a second one. Brian and Jerry are long-time members of our NFBC event and we wish them best of luck here in the hunt for the $37,500 in league prizes.

Frank Mammola of North White Plains, New York becomes our 17th owner in the New York $650 Auction League as it looks like we have some momentum for a second auction league in the Big Apple this year. Frank has been a loyal member of the NFFC's main event and he's now adding the doubleheader to this year's weekend of fun. Thanks Frank and we'll push hard to fill up this second auction league. Best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000+ in league prizes.

Greg Morgan is switching from Chicago to Las Vegas for the main event and the $650 Auction League. We now have 28 auction league members in Las Vegas and will try for a third league there as we're still five short of a $1250 Auction League and we'd LOVE to fill that one up. Keep 'em coming.

Kurt Damron and Jeff Young were our last official signups of 2005 as they found out about the NFFC late last year. This year they planned a return trip to the NFFC well in advance of Draft Day and became our 200th official signup by grabbing a spot at the Stardust Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Kurt (from McCordsville, Indiana) and Jeff led TEAM MASTERMINDZ to a 6-7 record in New York League 8 last year, placing 160th with 1,518.6 points. TEAM MASTERMINDZ then placed 113th in the Consolation Round with 462.07 points. We're glad to welcome you guys back for 2006 and as promised a nice red NFFC hat awaits you in Las Vegas. Oh, and best of luck once again in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're on a roll today as we welcome yet another new member to the NFFC family. Ron Martinez of Houston, Texas has always wanted to compete in a high-stakes football event and it just so happens that he's planning on visiting friends in Las Vegas the weekend of the NFFC draft. He also runs a 14-team local league, so he's ready for our format. We're glad to welcome Ron to the NFFC's main event as he will be joining us for the first time at the Stardust Resort & Casino on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. We're now working on our sixth league in Las Vegas and 15th overall and doing well with 27 days to go before our deadline. Thanks for your trust and support Ron and thanks again for the phone call today. Oh, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
