Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We welcome our 60th team owner in Chicago for the main event as we're going to have at least five leagues in the Windy City. Let's give it up for Glen Brown of Lafayette, Louisiana, who will be joining us at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Glen is new to our family of high stakes events and we welcome him to our growing group of fantasy die-hards. Thanks for your trust and support Glen and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
It's always good to welcome back our original members from 2004 to the main event and today we get that chance with the arrival of our latest signup. Let's hear it for the tag team of Steve Kivel and Arthur Singleton of Courtlandt Manor as they will be joining us at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Steve and Arthur competed in the NFFC in 2004 and tied for a league title, but lost the $5,000 on the tie-breaker. They were unable to make it to the main event last year, but they are back in 2006 and ready to win it all. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
Emo Bonaminio is claiming home field advantage in the Windy City as the Chicago native has just signed up to compete in the NFFC's main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. But Emo is trying his best to wear the away jerseys as he's trying to convince his co-manager, Eric Bettag, to head out to Las Vegas for the draft! I can change this anytime in the next week, Emo, so just keep me informed! Team Bonaminio finished 2-11 in Chicago League 3 last year, so I recommend a site location, guys! Anyway, glad to have you guys back and I wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're glad to welcome back a 2004 league champion to the NFFC again as Gary Winner of Northbrook, Illinois has just signed up for the main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Gary won a Chicago League title in 2004 and then had a scheduling conflict last year with our draft date, but he's returning this year and has his sights set on the big grand prize. Welcome back Gary and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We're honored to welcome our next tag team to the NFFC's main event as they are experienced high-stakes players who have competed in the WCOFF the past four years and will be back in that event again in 2006. Let's give it up for Jack Haan of Palos Heights, Illinois and his co-manager David Gerczak of Appleton, Wisconsin as they will be joining forces for the main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. You may know them as Bald Is Beautiful and Leroy's Aces on the WCOFF Message Boards and we're glad to have them officially in the NFFC.
Here's a good story: Jack actually sent me a private message back in June of 2004 about the NFFC and I responded to him to let him know what we were trying to do here. I noticed that he didn't read it right away and decided to keep it in my PM box just to see if he'd ever return to our site and read it. It turns out Jack signed up for two satellite leagues in our National Fantasy Baseball Championship this spring (and he has a chance to win both) and he finally came over to the NFFC site last month and read my private message. He said, "I guess I should have checked back here sooner" and I told him I just saw that he read my message. We both laughed and now a few weeks later he's in the contest with a Cheesehead who lives right down the road from me. Small world.
Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in our hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. Oh, and first beers are on me!

We're officially at 251 signups for the main event with the arrival of Lou Cacio of Naples, Florida. Lou and co-manager George Lampert are returning to Las Vegas in 2006 for the main event as we're closing in on our seventh full league there and 18th full league overall. Lou and George led their Duel Research team to a 7-6 record in Las Vegas League 3 last year, placing 103rd overall with 1,590.15 points and 98th overall in the Consolation Round with 471.27 points. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

William Hare of Cumming, Georgia becomes our 24th team in the $650 Draft Champions League in Las Vegas as he just completed the trifecta with that signup. William is already signed up for the main event and the auction league and he's put us one step closer to two full Draft Champions Leagues in Las Vegas. Welcome back for another event William and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 league prize.

We now have 18 full leagues for the NFFC's main event thanks to the return of Steve Lucinski and Reed Kasaoka of Ballwin, Missouri. Steve and Reed are good friends of ours from Dave & Adam's Card World and they competed in the 2004 main event before missing last year because of a scheduling conflict. These guys are on the road at card shows year 'round, so it's good that they took a little time off to join us for our live draft. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
