Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We happily begin our 19th league for the main event today with the return of Anthony Gambuzza of Wayne, New Hampshire, who will be drafting at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Anthony competed in New York League 1 last year, finishing 5-8 and placing 141st overall with 1,538.5 points and 115th overall in the Consolation Round with 461.45 points. Anthony is an original member of the NFFC family and we're glad to have him back. Best of luck Anthony this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're one spot away from closing out our seventh league in the main event in New York thanks to the return of Kenneth Kiel of Brooklyn, New York. Ken led his Dissipated Souls to a 5-8 record in New York League 3 last year, finishing with 1,257.05 points, but he's looking for a money finish this year. Welcome back Kenneth and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're making a nice run on Chicago this week as we're just five spots away from filling up a fifth league for the main event. Let's give it up for the return of Mauro DeAndrea of Hoffman Estates, Illinois as Mauro will be joining us on Saturday, Sept. 2nd at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott. Mario competed in our Chicago Auction League and Draft Champions Leagues last year, but his schedule is allowing him to do the main event this year. Welcome aboard Mario and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We now have seven full leagues in New York for the main event and have room for two more leagues at the most. Get 'em while they're hot!! Okay, let's give it up for the return of James Cummings of New York City as he's claiming home field advantage for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. James and his son Kevin led Team Cummings to a tie for first place in New York League 4 last year with a 10-3 record, but lost out on the tie-breaker by finishing 129th overall with 1,555.0 points. Team Cummings then placed 155th overall in the Consolation Round with 435.22 points. Welcome back guys and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

THERE ARE ONLY 28 SPOTS LEFT IN NEW YORK!!! DON'T SCREW UP -- SIGN UP TODAY!!!
Is the New York draft being held in the same Hilton mega-room as last year? Also, assuming you get to 9 leagues (and I know you will), are all of the leagues drafting in the same room? I know that the NFBC had a slight problem with that in March.

We have 28 spots left in New York and only 28. No chance for more than nine leagues there. Everything is good....just busy. Now, back to those Super Satellite League draft spots!

We are now up to 21 teams for the $650 NFFC Auction League in Chicago and working hard to get two full leagues there on Friday, Sept. 1st. Two new members to the NFFC will join us for this league as Allen Wing of Chicago, Illinois just signed up and is claiming home field advantage, and David Blake of Mokena, Illinois also grabbed his own team. Glad to have both teams on board and best of luck guys in the hunt for the $4,000+ in league prizes.
SEVEN MORE SPOTS IN CHICAGO!!! Can we do it? YES!!

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We're glad to welcome back another original member of the NFFC family to the 2006 main event as the father-son team of Thomas and James O'Connell of Valley Cottage, New York has signed up to join us at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. We are now starting our eighth league for the main event in the Big Apple and have room for only nine leagues there (which means 27 official spots are left). Thomas and James led their Rockland Sharks team to a 9-4 finish last year in New York League 6, placing 40th overall and just missing a money finish with 1,693.15 points. The Rockland Sharks then placed 33rd overall in the Consolation Round with 525.05 points. Great job last year guys and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Ron Kloeden of Milwaukee, Wisconsin has added the $650 Auction League to his weekend of fun in Las Vegas as we're making a late attempt at three auction leagues. I'm still not sure if we'll be able to fill up the $1250 Auction League as we have 11 signups there. We'll keep working on it as we have 15 days left to make a decision. Ron is already in the main event and we wish him best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000+ in Auction League prizes.

James Tracy of Batavia, Illinois did the trifecta in Las Vegas last year, but he just moved to a new home in Batavia this month and will instead do the trifecta in the Windy City. James has signed up for the $650 Auction League, the $650 Draft Champions League and the main event in Chicago, becoming our 22nd auction league team, our 18th DC team and our 66th main event team. Wow, what a great event Chicago is turning into. Thanks James and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize, the $4,250 DC prize and the $4,000+ in auction league prizes.
