Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We now have 5 1/2 leagues for the main event in Chicago, leaving us with seven open spots in the Windy City. It's been a solid year for Chicago, so let's keep it going here and finish with six full leagues. Our latest returning member is Robert Tedesco of Des Plaines, Illinois as he has just signed up for the big dance on Saturday, Sept. 2nd at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott. Robert's Dead Money team competed in Chicago League 1 last year and didn't finish in the money. But he's back and excited to compete this year for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. Welcome back Robert and good luck in 2007.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We have six spots open in Chicago thanks to the return of another original member of the NFFC family. Let's give it up for the return of Paul LeMarbre of Waukesha, Wisconsin as he will be joining us again at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 2nd for the big dance. Paul has been in the NFBC and NFFC the last three years and we're glad to have him back. Last year his FOUR WINDS team finished 8-5 in Chicago League 4, just missing a money finish as it placed 63rd overall with 1,640.7 points. Welcome back Paul and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
There, that's 21 full leagues among the three cities. Let's see if we can get full leagues in each city now and close this main event off. Keep the signups coming and we'll have some fun before this is all over with!! Thanks everyone.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We begin taking signups for our 22nd league in the main event with the arrival of our first $100,000 champion. Artie Rastelli of Hoboken, New Jersey won our debut National Fantasy Baseball Championship in 2004, pocketing $105,000 in the process. He's now trying to be the first dual-sport national champion in fantasy sports as he has just entered the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Artie becomes our 120th team in New York, leaving us with six open spots before we fill our ninth league. Artie's Triple-A RotoGod.com team finished 3-10 last year in New York League 4, but he's shooting for a reveral of that record this year and a top prize. Welcome back Artie and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Travis Small of Las Vegas has signed up for the $650 Auction League in Sin City on Friday, Sept. 1st as we're doing everything we can to get three leagues there. Travis was in the main event last year, competing as LAS VEGAS HEAT in Las Vegas League 5. The Friday auction works better for him this year, however, as he's now team No. 32 in Las Vegas. Thanks Travis and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000+ in league prizes.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
Tim and Joe Miller of Little Rock, Arkansas have become our 14th team in the $1,250 Auction League in Las Vegas, thus closing that one for 2006. Tim and Joe are new to our high-stakes events and we welcome them to this high-profile auction league, which will feature Brady Tinker as our auctioneer. This is the first year we've run a $1,250 Auction League for the NFFC and I'm glad we filled this one up. Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $8,000+ in league prizes.
We'll pick the nomination order this morning and post them online and e-mail them to the group as well. This should be a LOT of fun, so good luck everyone.

It took us awhile, but we finally have filled up that seventh main event league in Las Vegas, matching last year's total of 98 signups there. We're glad to welcome Paula Magner of Freehold, New Jersey as she will be drafting live at the Stardust Resort & Casino in Las Vegas with her son, Kenny. They are of course part of the Sackofpotatoes household as Ken Magner was one of our first signups for the 2006 NFFC and he will now have his own team with his daughter Kristen. Glad to have two Magner teams in the main event! Welcome aboard Paula and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
It will be tough to fill up an eighth league in Las Vegas, but we won't stop taking signups just yet. Let me know if you still have interest and we'll see how the other cities fall out. It's possible we can still get you involved.

Danny is currently in our NFBC AL Auction League and was in our NFBC main event in 2005. Welcome to the NFFC's main event Danny and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
