I can see McFadden being the #1 RB for the Raiders, lot more talent than anyone else on the roster, Jacobs, for whatever reason doesn't score a lot of TDs, he is HUGE, seems like he couldn't be stopped at the goal line but sometimes he was pulled. Mendenhall and Forte seem like they will contribute, maybe a lot for their teams , immediately. I don't see any of the rookie WRs doing much though. Like everyone it seems says, RBs can contribute immediately and WRs QBs take a while to figure it out. Matt Ryan looks like he could do something for the Falcons though.

Greg,

Since the content panel will be on the RotoWorld (NBC) site, will it be more geared towards 12 or 14 team leagues?

Also, I love the fact that the rankings will now be 'hidden' as to which owner is ranking them. Great addition!

P.S This is my RSVP replying 'YES' to be on the content panel again.

It was great to compete in the WCOFF last year and write about our team on these Message Boards, and Jesse and Dustin did the same about their NFFC team on the WCOFF boards. I'd like to do that again this year and I have talked with Jesse briefly about doing this again, but we've both been so busy that we haven't figured it all out yet.

I know from Jesse's standpoint, the week before is a hectic time for them and spending 10 days in Las Vegas makes it tough on them. They are still gearing up for their event, so they have it tougher than us. We are done with our event and had a relaxing time at WCOFF last year. But yeah, I think we both promoted the fun of each of our events and I'd be willing to do it again if Jesse wants to draft in the NFFC. I think it makes sense if we both do it in the others' contest, but we'll see.

In fact, I'd like to provide many different products with $100,000 grand prizes and up. I like more offerings better than bigger offerings.

Still, if sponsorship gets behind it and TV finds it intriguing and everything comes together, anything is possible. I think TV networks are always looking for original content that is easy and affordable to produce and down the road I honestly think this plays out in some type of reality series. That's when the pot gets big, not just getting up to 3,000 entrants.

This is going to be a rookie class that is going to take some time to produce for fantasy owners. I agree, the RBs look good, but they are all in some type of RB-by-committee situation. Mendenhall looks like he could be a star back, but right now he's behind Willie Parker. Forte still has Cedric Benson in Chicago. McFadden still has Fargas around. Stewart probably has the best chance of any rookie RB to excel right away.

Ryan is a big QB and I think he has the moxy to start this season. He may not be a top fantasy QB right away, but I agree that he has the skills to be solid very soon.

The wideouts are what they are and few will shine brightly in 2008.

P.S This is my RSVP replying 'YES' to be on the content panel again. Well, the Top 25 rankings will be based on our scoring system, which is the same for NFFC and NBC Sports. I'll ask each person on the Content Panel to give me their Top 25 QBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, Ks and D/ST in preferred order. We'll then do this for 12-20 owners and create a composite ranking. We'll update the rankings daily and give everyone a view at rising and falling rankings based on folks who have won hundreds of thousands of dollars in our events. Should be a fun ranking system to follow.

They will definitely be hidden, so you won't know which Content Panel member is behind each ranking. That was the plan last year, too.

You're on the Content Panel. Welcome back.

Okay, I was surprised that nobody asked me how much insurance would cost to provide a $1 million bonus for winning both the NFFC and NBC Sports main events. I'll let you guess through the night and then name a winner. I won't give the exact number away because there are variations from company to company and timeframe of payments, but we'll have some fun with this.

We're still looking into all of this and we'll figure something out that makes sense. Being the only live-events operator with two different main events on the same day lends a lot of possibilities for a bonus prize. Now we have to see what makes sense.

My guess is $12,000! to insure against a million payout.
