Bears Def Scoring?

Post by Hard heads » Sun Oct 19, 2008 11:03 am

Anyone watch the game and know why the Bears had a defensive score taken away? I know they blocked a punt for a TD and then had a muffed punt for a TD, shouldn't those both count as defensive TD's?

Also, I watched TN/KC.
It seemed like there was 4 sacks for TN, not 3.

I agree Raptors. I have read over the play by play and I see no reason it isn't 2 TD's and 24 pts.

Just an FYI... WCOFF is showing it as 24 points.

I agree that it will be fixed by morning.

regarding the "muffed punt"...i don't believe it counts as a Defensive/ Special Teams TD, because 'da Bears' are still on OFFENSE when punting on 4th down.
