We Want To Hear Your Draft Day Strategies

Are you a strong advocate of RB-RB in the first two rounds? Do you like to gamble early or play it safe? Do you believe in Value Based Drafting or do you go off your gut? When do you look to draft your first kicker and when is a good time to start targeting high-upside players? What players are you targeting and which ones do you think will be better served on someone else's roster? Who are your top rookies and your top sleeper picks?

Our first fantasy football magazine is still a few days away from hitting the newsstands, but we're already hard at work on Issue No. 2 and this is your chance to directly contribute to the magazine. One of our most popular stories in our second issue last year was a reader's submission story where we asked all of our readers to contribute some of their top Draft Day strategies. This is your chance to be an "expert" in our award-winning magazine and provide all of our readers with your advice, insight and favorite Draft Day strategies.

RB round 1 unless I am picking after team 8 and Moss is still available. Round 2 would be a RB as well. I guess that's not a strategy I'll be bringing to the table alone...

I've taken a good look at our 5 round mock draft and I've come to the conclusion that this event will not be won in rounds 1 to 4. This event will be won in rounds 5 to 12.

From the great mass of good but not great receivers, who will get the breakout WR2, WR3 and flex. Who will draft the backup to the starting RB that gets injured?

Half the teams will go down the tubes for no reason of their own. They will have a key injury to a RB, a suspension for drug use and draft a touted rookie that never gets to play.

The leaders will have their touted rookie playing as a top 10 and their WR5 promoted to be a starter because somebody ahead of them on the depth chart gets hurt.

The guys in the last group will proudly talk about how research wins championships and the guys in the first group will talk about how bad luck loses championships. Of course they will both be right.

Looking at the mock draft results, I can see that picking early in a 14 team league does not help nearly as much as it does in a 12 team league. Once again, the rb's went all so fast. Jersey Paul is right, luck will be necessary, as will be research. This will be a LOT of FUN! Is summer over yet???
