I'm a big Calhoun fan and yes I'm biased as a UW alum. But I'm not convinced Kevin Jones fits Martz's offense and even if he does he has major durability issues. Don't fall asleep late in your draft on Brian Calhoun. That's all I'm going to say.

How about Evans in Buffalo? Stud this year? You think Nall can beat out Losman?

I agree with you, Tom, because, being a new coaching staff, they wouldn't have drafted him if they were happy with what they had.

That really is a mess. Evans is a major talent and I think he'll do a better job of moving from the No. 2 WR to No. 1 than Drew Bennett, for example, did last season. But he's not ready to achieve stud status. I like him as a WR2 this year.

If Marinelli really runs the show, Jones will surprise. I think he needs the carries in the games to get going and Mooch didn't do that. Although he's to scary for me.

Any other Badgers worth talking about?

He plays bigger than his size, he's versatile and he can catch the ball out of the backfield. The latter could enable him to see some snaps immediately if Jones hasn't improved in terms of receiving and pass protection (and he was downright brutal in both last season).

What about those rookie WR's in GB? Can any overtake Ferguson and Gardner?

Any other Badgers worth talking about? Chris Chambers baby. People may not believe in him and if that's the case in your draft do not hesitate to take him as your WR1. If he's your WR2, your WRs will be golden barring injury.

When I was covering the Packers, Sherm Lewis (then the offensive coordinator) told me it typically takes WRs three years to really pick up that system.

Ferguson's a slug by the way. Gardner has talent but we're seeing all the same signs in GB with him that we saw in Washington. He simply isn't motivated to play hard all the time.
