Here's my team. I'm pretty happy with the results. I have a stud RB and stud QB which I wanted and I have great depth at WR. I didn't invest in a TE early but I got a solid starter, a solid backup and an upside play with Davis. RBs went fast and furious so I'm only OK with the depth behind my Top 2. I didn't plan on getting both Williams and Stewart but the good news is if one of them gets hurt, I have a Top 10 RB as my RB2.
QB-Drew Brees
QB-Jay Cutler
RB-Jamaal Charles
RB-DeAngelo Williams
RB-Jonathan Stewart
RB-LaDainian Tomlinson
RB-Jason Snelling
RB-Marion Barber
WR-Miles Austin
WR-Reggie Wayne
WR-Mario Manningham
WR-Lance Moore
WR-Nate Burleseon
WR-Dezmon Briscoe
TE-Kellen Winslow
TE-Ben Watson
TE-Fred Davis
K-Garrett Hartley
D-Eagles
D-Bucs
QB-Drew Brees
QB-Jay Cutler
RB-Jamaal Charles
RB-DeAngelo Williams
RB-Jonathan Stewart
RB-LaDainian Tomlinson
RB-Jason Snelling
RB-Marion Barber
WR-Miles Austin
WR-Reggie Wayne
WR-Mario Manningham
WR-Lance Moore
WR-Nate Burleseon
WR-Dezmon Briscoe
TE-Kellen Winslow
TE-Ben Watson
TE-Fred Davis
K-Garrett Hartley

Not bad Tom!
You need one of the Carolina boys to get hurt and then you will make some noise.

Wait... go back! How the heck did you get Brees in the 5th round??? Do QBs mean nothing in this league or was that a complete steal?

Billy's right that QBs do last longer. I believe Schaub went in the eighth round. Somewhere around there. I have no regrets about getting Brees. I wanted a stud QB and I got one and did it without compromising my top RBs or WRs.
This was an interesting draft. Like I said last night, the dual flex really makes people chase after RBs so it had an old-school feel to it. The only two decisions I had in the whole draft were:
1. Reggie Wayne. Honestly, I was hoping somebody else would take him. I would've liked to have gotten Jennings in the third but he went before me. There's no question Peyton's injury has people scared spitless. But the opportunity to get a potential Top 5 PPR WR in the third was crazy value. I couldn't pass on him.
2. Kellen Winslow. I held off on TE as planned and the round I took Winslow I was also looking strongly at RB3 because the talent was thinning out quickly. Bush and Tolbert were both on the board and I liked both for that role but I decided to go for the solid TE instead. Good thing I did because TEs flew off the board the rest of that round and the next round coming back to me. I didn't get Bush or Tolbert as I liked but the drop-off in talent at TE would've been immense had I passed on Winslow.
It was a fun draft and very interesting but it was LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG. Man, those guys loved taking the full 90 seconds.

Reggie's done as a top 5 WR. Recognizing the moment when a player is slowing down and losing skills is vital to winning.

aw what the heck i'll take a shot here. my take is that wayne will be playing for a contract and still has at least one great year of football left if not more and he will be just fine. maybe not top 5 but top 6-8 i can see easily. just my take on it because he's still relatively young for the position he plays. of course this is all contingent on peyton suiting up. I agree with all of that. He caught 111 passes last season. Now I don't expect him to catch that many again but he hasn't caught fewer than 80 passes in seven seasons. The chances of him declining to sub-80 receptions in this offense with a healthy Peyton (obviously the key) is extremely minimal. All he needs to do to justify his draft position is catch 80 passes for his usual 1,000-plus yards and 5-plus TDs. I think that's a slam dunk. If he does better (which is very probable given his talent, proven level of production and Peyton), he becomes a great bargain. I'll take my chances there without a doubt.
It's all contingent on Peyton being healthy. If there are any concerns about this pick, I think it starts and ends there, not so much with Wayne. Especially not in the third round. He's crazy value there.
