Fanball really dropped the ball with the "protocal" (as Ryan put it  ) on how to select players for this team.
That however is OVER, and nothing can be done. I feel for all that had to draft in this league, and the fact it appears there is a "deadbeat owner" so early in the season SUCKS.
I'm not sure what Greg and Tom will do about this, but if history serves, they generally do not take over "deadbeat owner" teams.
I'm not sure why anyone would call him a "deadbeat owner"
He revealed it himself on draft day. I don't care what the excuse is, if he truly cared, like you guys keep stating, he would've made sure somebody called to draft his team. He didn't, he's a deadbeat owner.
All of us, that do truly care, would've spent more than pocket change to make our team better after missing the draft. He didn't, he's a deadbeat owner.
Beanie Wells in lineup....deadbeat owner.
Yet others who actually have the integrity to respect the game and their opponents in the leagues are the ones in the wrong because they have questioned this deadbeat???

I don't even know what your post is supposed to mean Glenn. You do realize Greg and I work for Fanball, right? So I'm not sure what you mean by saying "gone the route of Fanball."
Look, neither Greg nor I have told anyone they can't discuss this or any situation. It's fair game. In fact, I recall a thread from last season which asked (some even demanded) that Greg and I step in when owners were giving up and starting players on bye weeks. Greg and I declined for what should be very obvious reasons.
It's not our position to run leagues in any of our events. All we can do is ask our participants to stay active to the best of their ability. But once someone pays the entry fee how they choose to run their team is up to them. The reality here is there will be players in our event, in every other national event as well as nearly every fantasy football league in the world who will give up at some point during the season. That doesn't make it right. That doesn't make it enjoyable but it's a fact that anyone who has played fantasy sports for any length of time understands is very possible if not likely.
Erick did make some moves this week. Did he do all that he could have? Perhaps not. But whether he made the moves YOU wanted him to make is irrelevant. As Greg and I have now both said, you should not be acting as judge and jury for anyone in this event except for yourself. That is a very simple request that both of us have made to you repeatedly. And if you're questioning why you're on the verge of a possible suspension the answer could be based on how you have chosen to respond to our repeated requests.

I GUARANTEE you that even with 13 drafters that Boston draft was the TOUGHEST draft of EVERY NFFC draft. There was not ONE worthy player left on the draft board for pick ups. LLOYD was the ONLY FA worth a pick up week one. Every other player was picked during the draft...right down to Stephen Williams WR Ariz was drafted go check you won't find one player worth a flyer. I've done a ton of drafting in my 17 years playing this hobby but Ive never seen a draft as picked apart as that one was. In fact had we an inkling that the draft would be that tough i don''t think we would have jumped on that last spot when we found out it was available that last week of August. The odds of the winner coming out of the draft are 50x worse than any other draft and thats a fact imo.

Imagine only bidding 65 for the only WR available worth a play when you only had ONE WR to use????

AS soon as this all went down the league had to be played out as AN ALL PLAY format as was mentioned here 10 times by others. The h2h winner of this league will be nothing more than a sham and to think they will get a free bid into the playoffs is disgusting. The h2h format in this contest is based solely on LUCK and now in this league its even worse than that.
