Fanball really dropped the ball with the "protocal" (as Ryan put it  ) on how to select players for this team.
That however is OVER, and nothing can be done. I feel for all that had to draft in this league, and the fact it appears there is a "deadbeat owner" so early in the season SUCKS.
I'm not sure what Greg and Tom will do about this, but if history serves, they generally do not take over "deadbeat owner" teams.
I'm not sure why anyone would call him a "deadbeat owner" when he picked up players that he needed to get an active starting lineup. But you are right Billy, we have a lot of people who don't even change their starting lineups in Weeks 10, 11, 12 and 13 and you don't see other owners calling them out like this. This is crazy.
Erick picked up two WRs that he could start this week and he did that. Brandon Lloyd went for $333 in this league. Should he have paid more for that WR??? To each his own, but I wouldn't have bid more. So he got the players he needed to be active this week and we move on. Geez.
i think it was 303 but am not sure for Lloyd and Greg..have you checked the FA list in that league? Its PICKED clean..go look..mention ONE player you would want to play and ill be shocked. Its so ugly that I doubt highly that more than one player if that will even evolved off it all year long..there is just ZERO talent left on the list. The drafters were that good on draft day not one stone was left unturned in that draft all the way down to Stephen Williams WR Ariz were drafted. Along with Clayton..Snellings..Tate..all of them that were bid on in other leagues last week were drafted in ours. Lloyd was the ONLY player worth bidding on..Eric had to bid 300 plus for him 100% had too as he was the only WR worth starting in a 14 team league.
I also seen the list i did not copy it but copy and was almost positive he bid on Lloyd but for only $65 bucks as i said previously here...in fact last week i made a post saying i was sick because i bid 303 on him and could have had him for 66 bucks...i remember seeing it because i was wondering why he didn't get the bid over our team..,.Frank you have it copied...you sure he didn't try for a $65 bid on Lloyd? I could swear i seen that? Thing is in his situation a 65 bid for Lloyd was an insult really..he just had to bid higher three figures for him.

DT is correct. I just checked the FA bids and Erick did bid $65 on Lloyd. So he did make an attempt to get him.
Thanks DT.
Thanks DT.

AS soon as this all went down the league had to be played out as AN ALL PLAY format as was mentioned here 10 times by others. The h2h winner of this league will be nothing more than a sham and to think they will get a free bid into the playoffs is disgusting. The h2h format in this contest is based solely on LUCK and now in this league its even worse than that.
Did you or did you not read the rules before you paid your money to play in this league? Please answer this question in any subsequent post you make.
If you did, then you knew this was a H2H league and that these kind of things happen in this format. Or are you saying that you didn't know this could occur? If that is unacceptable to you, then you never should have ever played in this league in the first place, and you sure as heck shouldn't be raising hell about it now. There are other contests that have an all-play format...why didn't you play in those instead?
If you didn't read the rules and the H2H format in this league came as a surprise to you, then there's nothing more I can say to that.
Look...I understand your frustration with these tough loses. We've all been there. I lost over $20,000 last year in the Ultimate league last year when I lost a game by 0.6 points. That's right...7 yards, one catch, one sack would've won it for me. Was I upset? You bet. Did I scream about it being unfair? No. I knew going in this was possible in this format.
It's one thing to generate a discussion about changing the format for next year. I'm all for that. But to come on this MB and scream about how it's unfair is ridiculous. You should have have known this was possible going in.
The absurdity of your complaining about the H2H format is surpassed only by your statement that "The odds of the winner coming out of the draft are 50x worse than any other draft and thats a fact imo."
50x worse, huh? I wasn't aware that all the other drafters in all the other venues were such idiots.
I disagree totally the LLoyd will be anywhere but playing for Denver this entire season. Hes best friends with Orton and the coach loves him he also is the teams only real deep threat. McDaniels I doubt will cut a guy who has worked as hard as Lloyd has..guys has turned his career around and is now a serviceable NFL WR with speed ability to go deep. Yes I know all about Thomas the rookie who can also go deep and looks like he will be a star but hes a rookie who has struggled with the play-book after coming out of Ga. Tech who only had him running straight deep routes so we feel Lloyd will stay on this team for the year. He's done nothing but work his ass off and produce all year long. Dam the guy had a 116 yard week one how many other NFL WRs did..a couple if that? He followed that up with a respectable 8.3 points this week not terrible for a #3 WR in a 14 team league. I wish I played him, i goofed and didn't and it cost us the weeks match up even tho we put up 142.95..disgusted about it really..Ive followed this situation quite closely since spring time and Lloyds been the listed Starter WR #1 there all year long. I agree he is no star and never will be but he does have a place on that team and IF he did have to be let go were sure he land on another team based on his week one effort.

Brandon Lloyd-WR-Broncos Sep. 20 - 8:05 pm et
The Denver Post's Lindsay Jones confirms that Brandon Lloyd is the Broncos receiver most threatened by Demaryius Thomas' increased role.
The Broncos start three wideouts in their base offense, so Thomas would be outside opposite Jabar Gaffney, with Eddie Royal in the slot. Lloyd would become a fourth receiver, battling Eric Decker for snaps. Thomas' role should grow by the week. He's certainly got more value and upside than Lloyd.

Well EDonk(the missing owners team) made NO BIDS this week and had Heyward Bey and others to shoot for and again had to bid high for him and or other players to fill his roster...not only didn't he bid high he bid NOTHING on ANYONE. This confirms a lot of peoples thoughts about this situation. This league is playing its regular season with 13 teams and not 14. Sorry powers that be but its just that simple now. You told us he would be right in the middle of FA bidding hot and heavy..well last week he was out bid on LLoyd 300 to 65(and thats if that 65 bid was his) and this week he didn't make a bid on Bey....just brutal and unforgivable now. The h2h schedule in that league will be nothing but a FARCE the second this team gets a h2h win. This team should be tossed aside this very moment...ALL TEAMS get wins vs him.. something must be done now as he is just not trying..i mean really..this guy is playing cards with pots of 10-100k in them.. and you really thought he would give two craps about this Contest? And I'd love to know this...why was this guy put in the Boston league? You had to know he had no chance to showing up in Boston when he lives in Las Vegas...what was he going to fly from Vegas to Boston for a $1400 FF draft when he is a pro card player living in Vegas? What gives there..why didn't you find an owner who would show up and actually draft his team other than this BS artist nd let this guy draft in Veagas where he was?? Its my opinion that he knew all along what was going down and knew he was not going to the draft in any way shape or form and figured he get a better team not drafting and getting the team picked for him..the league fee was just a donation of some sort and yes i do really believe this is true now. Its just to fishy now.. How in the world can you have a Contest like this and not know 100% for sure that a possible absent owner would be available via phone like was set up to be? Something stinks out loud about this whole deal now and nothing can be said would change my mind on this matter at this point. For that team not to make a bid this week was the final answer for me.

what are you going to do ? you can keep beating a dead horse on this thread. its not going to do any good. eric is a piece of garbage and a liar. i hope he does not effect the outcome of this league but something tells me he will. there is NO MORE sugar coating this by the people that run the league. no more sticking up for the stuckys of the world. it is what it is and you cant do anything about it. everyone in this league can make up there minds if they want to return next year. friends are friends and biz is biz. i just hope greg and tom dont justify his actions cause i would just want to puke. no need for everyone to jump in on this either. its plain and simple whats going on.
THIS IS THE BUSINESS WE HAVE CHOSEN
