I'll Chat Today At 2 ET
We don't do a lot of in-season chats but we're entering Week 6, we have a lot of great football to talk about, some great races in the NFFC and "The Walking Dead" will have its season premiere on Sunday night. Who could ask for more?
So I'll be here starting at 2 pm ET today for an in-season chat. Bring your questions, comments, concerns, fears, anxieties, consternations etc. and I'll do my best to address all of them.
Be here at 2 and let's have some fun.

Nothing has been set in stone as far as 2012 is concerned. We believe our format is the strongest in the high-stakes industry in terms of giving the best teams the strongest chance of having success. But again, we'll take a look at everything after the season and if there is a strong demand for specific things, we'll look into whether we should make those changes. We've always listened to our players when it comes to improving our games and formats. Nothing will change there.

are you guys thinking of just doing one live weekend for the primetime drafts next year? if so do you think it will be the weekend before football starts or the weekend of football?

-The talk about Peyton Manning has been very quiet. Have you heard ANYTHING? He hasn't been placed on IR. I know there was one report from Irsay saying "we hope he can play some at the end of the season..."
Have you heard a thing other than "doctors are allowing him to be on the sidelines to watch the game..."

We haven't made any final decisions yet about 2012. However, we are giving consideration to having both the Classic and Primetime on both weekends. That is an option we're considering but, again, nothing definitive has been locked in for 2012.

Carolina's new pass heavy offense has been driving me crazy considering I locked up their backfield thinking they would be even more of a run heavy team with Cam in his rookie year.
Had DeAngelo going to start but benched him last week since he has been so pedestrian, at best, and opted to insert JSTEW. Of course, DeAngelo has his best outing by far.
I pretty much have to start one at flex unless I roll with Keller there again. If so, would you reccomend going back to DeAngelo or figure Stewart gets a chance to catch some more balls in a possibly high scoring game in Atlanta?

Have you heard a thing other than "doctors are allowing him to be on the sidelines to watch the game..." All the speculation is that he's done for the season. I think the greater concern is whether his career is over. I think when you're trying experimental procedures that haven't been fully approved in this country there are serious concerns about whether you're going to play again. I dropped Peyton in one league I had him a couple of weeks ago. I'd be very surprised if he played this season.

It's really a horse apiece with those guys right now. Either one could have the superior game on a given week since neither one really has a lot of TD potential. Of the two, I'd probably lean slightly toward DeAngelo given how good he's looked the last two games. But either way, you can't bank on a touchdown. Cam owns everything inside the 5.

Tom,
You may be right. I just think it is odd that if it is THAT bad why would they not place him on IR and open up a roster spot? especially when they are so thin at QB as it is.
Ps. If Janikowski is the first kicker taken next year and it happens in the 10th round will people snicker and roll their eyes? That guy is unreal.
