Let's Start The NFFC Slow Draft Season!!
Okay, we're happy to report that our new draft software will be done in the next week and it will feature Slow Draft capability. We will offer $125 Slow Draft Leagues in 14-team formats, 3RR/KDS, in 26-round Draft Champions formats. This is a deep DC league where the computer will pick your optimal scoring lineup through 16 weeks of a regular season. Pay Top 3 is the format.
There appears to be interest in a $375 Slow Draft, Draft Champions format that gives $1,400 or an NFFC Classic free entry to the top three teams. We will also offer those starting late next week. That one filled up quickly last year and would hope that we can fill up one of those as well. These are the two formats we'll offer Slow Drafts this year and we'll start them as soon as we fill the leagues once the site is completed.
For those owners who competed in the NFBC, the draft software for football is very similar to baseball. For Slow Drafts, emails will go out to all owners after each pick with a link to the draft room included. Owners will have 12 hours per pick, so you won't be tied to your computer in this league. This should be a lot of fun.
Payouts for the $125 league will be: $950 for first, $350 for second and $125 for third. We'll post Registration links shortly, but let's get the ball rolling with an online signup list now. Hopefully within 7-10 days we'll already be drafting. Thanks for your patience all as we developed the draft engine and let's finally get pay NFFC leagues rolling.
Here are the two offerings for Slow Drafts:
