I'm glad you're coming back tonight, Tom, because I want to ask you about that homer pick of Green Bay's offensive line over New Orleans offensive line.

With 22 guests in the Message Boards right now, there must be someone who has a question about the NFFC, right? Ask away as it's just me, Tom and loads of caffeine in the office.

Okay, now there's 32 guests on the Message Boards. I'll start out since everyone is so shy:
1) Packers vs. Patriots in the Super Bowl (actually that's my heart talking as I think Seattle is ready this year, as much as that pains me).
2) One fantasy football prediction: Carson Palmer is going to struggle early this year, but I honestly think this guy is going to be a solid QB this year in this offense and will finish with close to 20 TD passes and be a serious fantasy QB in 2005.
3) If you were signed up for Grogan's Fantasy Football in Las Vegas or the FFTOC and you're looking for a new high-stakes game to play, ask me anything you want and I'll answer as honestly as I can. I know there are a lot of people still looking for an alternative and I believe we have a good one for you. Ask away and I'll answer.

1) Eagles vs. Colts in the Super Bowl. McNabb gets his SB.
2) I disagree. Palmer will lose his job before mid-season. For those who have moved Chad Johnson down your cheatsheets, move him back up. Kitna is gonna go to him early and often.

I know Gordon posted this in the Fantasy/NFL Talk, but this just came over from footballguys.com:
Looks like there's some bad news from FOX Sports concerning the Vikings'
Onterrio Smith. During tonight's televised game, studio host James Brown,
citing FOX insider Jay Glazer, said that Onterrio Smith heads into the
season facing a four-game league suspension. No reason was given.
This obviously raises Michael Bennett's value, but Moe Williams now becomes more valuable as well. Williams was a fantasy star last year and he will see more action early on now as the Vikings will still take it easy with Bennett a bit. It's been a brutal off-season for the NFL and this upcoming draft just keeps getting more and more interesting.

Greg, whose stock goes up with Onterrio Smith's suspension, Bennett, Williams, Mewelde Moore?

Eagles vs. Colts is certainly possible. So is Seahawks vs. Chiefs. Packers vs. Patriots. Panthers vs. Titans. That's why the NFL is so great.
This offense isn't much different than what Palmer ran at USC and I think he will actually be better suited for it than Kitna. Palmer is a smart guy who can handle the pressure and take a few licks. I think he'll endure. One of us is goingn to rub this in at some point in the season, I can just tell.

In my eyes, it's Williams. The guy didn't nothing wrong last year to merit all the off-season talk of Bennett and Smith taking over this year. He's a great receiver, he became a good open field runner last year and he continues to be the team's best goal-line rusher, which means he likely will finish the year with more TDs than Bennett. Smith could be in the doghouse for more than four games with Tice, so don't be surprised to see Williams keep this backup job for awhile and continue to excel on third down and at the goal-line. I think his stock just went up more than Bennett's did.

Gotcha. He's a second-year pro, man. He just didn't play last year.
