The eagle has landed in western Kentucky today. Thanks to Greg, Tom, Stats.LLC and everyone else involved to make the payout happen in such a timely fashion. I hope this establishes the NFFC/NFBC as the way to go for the "BEST" high stakes challenge available to any and all. With the good (Lindy) and the bad (WCOFF) out there in the media regarding our industry, this could be a breath of fresh air for any doubters.
Thanks again and see y'all in NYC for the NFBC

Since the checks for money won during the Regular Season (13 weeks) were issued and sent before the end of December, but the checks for money won for the Playoffs (16 weeks) were not issued and sent until after January 1st, does that mean the 1099 we receive for 2011 will only include the Regular Season earnings and not include the Playoff earnings, or will all earnings be reported on the 1099 for 2011?

I believe it will be taxed on the year it was sent out, so 2011 and then 2012.

Greg,
That's exactly what I was thinking. In my case, since I only won $500 for the 13 week Regular Season does that mean I will not receive a 1099 this year, but will receive a 1099 next year since my winnings for the 16 week Playoffs exceeded $600?
