I think we should be careful trying to overly manipulate the scoring system. No matter what the scoring system is we can find examples of how a player played poorly but scored well in fantasy or played great but scored poorly in fantasy. We cannot control everything.
I like having a situation where we really have to question what players we will take in the first 2-3 rounds. I think once we get past the first 3 rounds the picks are more based on value players that fall to us and positions we need based on how the first 3 picks went.

I think its quite fair and evens out all the positions. If it ain't broke...... Agree it should be .5 PPR for RB

Actually with the RB by committee approcach most of the league employs I think we need full PPR for running backs to keep the right balance. Please keep 6 pts for QB TD passes too - it should be a real decision on draft day as to weather you take a RB, WR or QB with your first pick and it is in the current set up.

I am very happy to hear that playoffs is now being discussed and with keeping the 13 week season.
Glad to hear many have found a way to keep most people happy with the debate raging on about 13 weeks vs playoffs.
I am wondering if everyone really wants 6 teams. I am all for it, but I thought the consensus was that only the best teams (two) should be in any type of playoff.
Hey we all can be wrong sometimes and it takes a man to step and say it.
Playoffs are where we should be.
The more a person feels they could make money in the league, the more people I think will join the league.
The more that join the league the better the prizes for the better players.
Sounds good to me

If we have to have playoffs and you decide not to do it with points, what about four teams where the first round lasts two weeks?
The winner of 1 v s4 ,2 vs 3 go against each other in week 16 for the title. I have issues with the luck factor blowing a strong team out from cashing with one bad game. This way you reward the stronger teams potentially by getting them into the title game for the cash.

Never do card tricks for the people you play poker with.

Hate adding more negative points even more than keeping 6 which is already bad enough. Would make the separation even larger. Bad idea.

Make defenses and kickers relevant or just discard them totally.
Kickers:
50 yard FG =5 points and 1 point for every yard over 50. 55yd FG =10 points!
Misses field goal = -1
Here's the most fun part of our local league:
Defense
0 points allowed = 20 points
under 10 points= 10 points
10-20 points allowed= 5 points
20-30 alllowed = 0
30-40 point allowed = -5 points
40-50 points allowed = minus 10 points
over 50 points allowed = minus 20 !!!
Too radical for the NFFC prolly but is sure makes drafting Defenses & kickers to some extent relevant on draft day

I like the .5 per rec for RB in the classic with 14 team leagues.
Already the RB is the lowest quantity skill position and hardest to find a good replacement on FA. If we make RB even more valuable - it makes the the other positions less valuable by comparison. The problem I have with that is we are heading back to all RB getting taken early in the draft. The way the rules are now makes WR and QB a little more valuable and gives people different strategies at the draft. WAY more teams would draft 3 good RBs earlier if they are made more valuable.
I also like leagues with full pt per Rec for RB but I have always liked this subtle difference of .5 per rec for RB in the NFFC for 14 team leagues - I'd hate to see it go away.....

It's funny but the NFFC is the WR/QB format while the FFPC is the RB/TE format I do think PPR across the board will balance it out a bit.
