This thread is on page 5.....
the defense rests.
And if it wasn't Glenn, it would've lasted 2. People pile on way to often due to the past......rather sad.
It was already on page 3 when I responded, and I guarantee (without counting) that JUST he and Popcorn Maker would be on page 4 by themselves.
And yes, other people jumped on, but that proves my point exactly.
While they sometimes have some relevant football info, the majority of Glenn's posts are an opportunity for him to "grandstand" about himself. to make it worse, it is generally with an arrogant tone/attitude. Fact is people don't like to be "talked down to", and that is exactly what Glenn does (if he doesn't agree with you).
After all...."don't you know who he is?"
That's through your "remembering the past" glasses.
He's starting threads to generate some football talk and people jump on him for his opinion. Your friend, Mark, is one of the most egotistical people EVER on the any mb's, yet you read many of his postings with rose-colored glasses. I don't know if I can read another...."blah, blah, blah, deciding to spend my money here or not" posting! And even though I'm not his biggest fan and I think most of his postings are to see himself in print, I would never jump on him for it.....it's his prerogative, who am I to say what he posts or not??
And if people want to comment on the signature being incorrect because it didn't include "league,".....how about people who had partners when they won the Classic, yet only one person gets the credit.
snore. this board would be better off without such nonsense.
lets set the record straight whatever you say happened in the past i was not here for. i dont care who posts. it is the way in which things are said. I do not mind the football discussion. it is the attitude of im all knowing you know nothing and if you disagree with me A. who the f do you think you are B. my dad can beat up your dad tone.
and to add ive got no time for that attitude. it is no fun and i am 100% positive that the boards would be more lively and more people would discuss if that was not a factor here.
Should've seen the lack of football talk a few years ago.....the main culprit isn't here much and the boards ARE much better.
To be honest, you are heading down the road of others...."Posts like these really annoy me. just typical cowboys hate and not in reality". Glenn's opinion is one way, your is another, who cares.....debate and have some fun!
FYI: "Know who I am" post was from left field, but the minute you responded, you joined the same playing field. If I responded to everything I didn't agree with, my wife would be even more unhappy with me.

WARNING: STAY AWAY from the Cowgirls Skill Players!
my .02:
Austin and Witten are going to be on the field almost every snap. Those two are going to have 80 catches each pretty easily I think.
Austin's playmaking ability (and space that will be there thanks to the other skill players being on the field) will lead him to the endzone 10 times at least. Add in 1200 or so yards, he's worth where he's being drafted, I guess you could argue he's going a few spots too high, but nothing major.
Witten's yards will be solid, his tds may be below 6 or so since they will try to run inside the 10.
The other skill guys are the ones that will be hurt by Snake's premise. Dez, MBIII, Jones, Williams, Choice. They will not be on the field all of the tiem. They will struggle to reach the level that their adps are indicating. (Although I wouldn't drop any of them tremendously)
and Romo should be pretty beastly.

It never fails and it's always started by the innocent.

and Romo should be pretty beastly. Barber's current ADP is 6th round. I got him to start the 7th in the fanball mag mock. If he can post 900 rushing yds, 10 TDs, 40 recs for 300 yds, that's 200 nffc pts. That's around what 3rd or 4th rd RBs score and to me a potential value.
