Lou is correct, creating a system where Kevin Jones is then the most valuable RB has some merit and also has some downside. Whatever decision me and/or Lenny or anyone else makes will be trumped by someone on the other side of the debate. It never ends.

Is there a foolproof draft system out there? Probably auctions. I think we all agree to that. Maybe it's time to push for that in our main event. :D Go ahead GG, lead the charge.

LOL. The guys liked KDS.

I will never run or play in a contest where owners are forced to draft in certain spots just because they feel giving up points is too much.

You'll notice that not once, has any proponent of BBDS said they wanted LT. They just want other owners to be penalized. IMO, with this much money on the line, those that have the MOST experience in SAT BBDS point/faab leagues know that some dolt will panic and WAY OVERBID for the top spots and give them another advantage.

As a commish, to a fault, I think long term. I see many owners getting burned by the BBDS concept and not wanting to return, especially newbies that will have no clue on how to value BBDS.

3RR "evens" out the draft the best IMO, and doesn't have all the other headaches and learning curves. I don't think it hurts 4-6 at all.... that said, how could it be "worse" than the numbers those picks already have?

Go to the home page, look at the ADP, and reverse the third round. Wayne, Gates, Palmer, Roy Williams were ADP 29-32.

S.Moss(42), J.Lewis, Dillon, Burress, were 42-39.

That difference right there is enough to even out the draft problem.

KISS. Thanks.
Jules is a Dirt bag and makes my luck.

Greg,

I am convinced that it is the magazines and paid web services (experts) that are brainwashing the yearly ADP into peoples heads. That is the main problem with any league, big or small.

Even before we walk into the Hilton, the draft is pre-scripted like a Hollywood blockbuster. I think that people should disassociate themselves with the actual player and his likeness and start thinking more on a statistical formulation.

Draft day is like a puzzle, and for each draft slot, you must put the correct piece into the next to make your team a competitive squad, regardless of draft slot.

I do not think the LT2 owner has an advantage. He is performing the best for his draft slot though. This is not always the case, year in and year out.

Dont get me wrong though...I wouldnt mind having him ;)

And the day we get a guy like him, we will be 13-0 with 2200 points in a season.

I need to check in more often. Can I play? Scott, sometimes you need to battle with the MB boys too! :D Of course you can play, but I already know your thoughts from watching the other boards. So, how do you fix the problem? BBDS??? Give us your wise thoughts.
