Seriously, think about last year, as having 2 extra rounds wouldn't have affected Ryan Grant, Earnest Graham, or Derek Anderson.

There will ALWAYS be "pleasant surprises" that no one rosters at the draft.

I would be OK with this ... it just means a couple key injuries and your taking zeros without anything usable in FA.

If the point is to kill FA all together ... you will accomplish this better with 28 man rosters like the NBC DC. Why not?

2 distinct contests. 12 team 10 reserve. 14 team 8 reserve. The 12 team is auto-pilot. The 14 team you better grab the controls. I say keep them distinct and don't try to meld the two.

Is a 12-team Main Event that is "auto pilot" one that the NFFC/NBC wants to be known for?
2008- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic.
2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.
