HEIDEN BIDS

Post by GOD Loves You » Fri Sep 23, 2005 9:47 am

Think we should start a weekly chat about the "hot" FA from the Clowns, I mean Browns.

Last week it was the main man, Frisman.

This week the new guy on the block is Steve Heiden. Although I am no Heiden fan, he has had "some" decent games over the past half season.
What is commical is their production or lack thereof is a result of each others play.
FOR ALL OF YOU FRISMAN OWNERS .....
Do you realize that his production increased when Heiden left the game???
Heiden was hurt and Frisman basically took his receiving spot (I know Heiden is a TE). All of those balls Frisman caught would have probably been Heiden's. If you disagree, look at the first 2 games.
WEEK #1 (Heiden injured)
Frisman 8 catches 128 yards 1TD
WEEK #2 (Heiden healthy)
Heiden 6 catches 104 yards 2TD'S
Jackson 1 catch 11 yards
Look earily similar doesn't it?
And I don't have to tell all of you "WINNERS" who "prudently" "won" Frisman that with Heiden back in the saddle, Frisman is just another back up TE :D . I know this info is only pertinent to a select few, but I thought it needed to be shared.

By the way, Heiden went for $227 in Chicago League #5.

Maybe the saying should be
"If you want to win, you must put Heid-en"
FAITH IS NOT BELIEVING THAT GOD CAN....
IT IS KNOWING THAT HE WILL

GLY, I don't agree with your philosophy here as the difference in Frisman week 1 and Frisman week 2 was they were playing with a lead in Green Bay after the first quarter whereas they were behind Cincinnati after halftime. Dilfer threw 32 passes week 2 vs. 43 passes week 1. This goes back to what I said last week about spending tons of money on a #4 wr in that this is only a good investment if Cleveland is playing from behind. Now this week should be a good Frisman week and a rough Heiden week as they should be playing from behind all game against INDY. I expect to see a lot of Frisman this week.

Heiden scored 62.5 in last 8 games last year.
19-195 4td

He was 3-32 Week 1.

He put my LV DC into first place last week (205.1). Never thought I would ever say that after my draft.

He's a decent play the moment Winslow went down.

I had to spend a ton on him this week in LV Auction with E.Johnson done.
Jules is a Dirt bag and makes my luck.

I am hoping we see a little more of Antonio Bryant too! :D

This is going to be the AB breakout week as with the 28th pass defense, INDY is going to have to outscore the Browns so I'm expecting another shootout which is why we picked up Dilfer this week. Can't believe he was there for the pickins.

I picked him up for $51 in the gekko lge. I like him at that price, but not so much for the $200+ he went for in some other lges.

Heiden's value is still an unknown as you just don't know how much playing time he will get after the week 4 bye when Aaron Shea should be healthy and ready to go.

(Week #1) I picked up Frisman for $404 dollars

(Week #2) I picked up Heiden for $102 dollars

I am not starting either player in Week #3

So far I am 2-0 (TWO WINS and ZERO LOSES)

I am hoping to "WIN" again this week and start off this tournament 3-0

Just trying to take it "ONE WEEK AT A TIME."

If I had to do the draft all over again, I would NOT have selected Peyton Manning at pick 1:5
