Pettigrew, kendricks I think it's a solid team. It seems like you're missing players though (unless you took 2D and 2K). To me, the NFFC is a WR league not a RB league (because of the .5 PPR), so I don' like flexing out a RB. I probably would have tried to pick up a WR where you took Starks/Lynch/SPiller.. Just my opinion. Good job though.

You mean the Aaron Hernandez that had 16 targets and 11 catches the last 8 weeks of the season combined as compared to 40 targets for Gronkowski? Or is there a different one that Brady actually throws the ball too? Yeah, THAT one. Same one who actually DID NOT PLAY in two of those last 8 games, yet still scored 4 TDs in those 6 games.
Yes, if he continues his case of drops, Gronk could just steal the position from him and turn into the next Gates. But unless that happens, I think we're going to see a split that cuts too deep into both of them, leaving Gronk-owners desperately chasing last year's TDs. IMO, TEs not named Gates don't tend to repeat their lofty TD seasons.
Check out the TD history of some of the more prominent TEs over the last 5 years. I just don't see how a TE who might catch only 50 passes can be expected to be a reliable every-week fantasy starter. As long as Hernandez is still around, I don't see Gronk catching the 75+ balls that elite TEs do, and TDs are unpredictable from year to year.
Though this certainly wouldn't be the FIRST (or last!) time I've been way off.
For the record, here are some website projections for Gronk (which may all be wrong too):
- Rotoworld: 50/616/9 = 165 (though I seriously question his ability to repeat in TDs, given the addition of Ocho)
- CBS Sports: 46/614//7 = 149
- ESPN: 48/576/6 = 141

k rackers/hartley VERY solid team. I don't personally like Wayne this year, but other than that, very well done.

I agree. If Wayne still delivers high-end WR2 numbers, you should have a very competitive team. Well done!
