How is Fantasy Football different from Fantasy Baseball ?

Is it just me or dose anyone else have this same feeling on this topic ?

When over looking the rosters after a Baseball draft it seems to ME, you can pick out 4 or 5 teams that stand out. BUT when over looking a Football draft it seems that they all look like they have a shot ( that is before the 1st week comes to an end ) . I guess what i'm getting at is, Baseball seems more consistent and predictable , where as Football seems more VOLATILE, anyone can break out at anytime, and a fresh season makes for a all sorts of promising visions.

Dose anyone else feel this way, or am i just wishful thinking ?

But besides that, more to the topic, is there a different approach in drafting when it comes to Baseball or Football ?

To me, after I see a completed NFFC draft, there are always 6-7 teams that have little to no chance to win. some people just do not get certain concepts about the league, and without a great deal of waiver wire help, just made a $1,300 donation.

Honestly, I don't think you can ever judge a conclusion after Draft Day in baseball. It is such a marathon that you never know what can happen over the course of SIX MONTHS. I mean, think about it. Some guys drafted Rich Hill around 110 this year and thought they were getting a bargain and then the guy develops the disease where he can't throw strikes and you look like a fool. Who could have seen that coming from a solid looking young left-hander who just struck out 180+ batters the year before?

The successful baseball owners have good drafts and grind and grind and grind via free agency all year long. The successful football owners have good drafts, stay relatively healthy and also grind via free agency, albeit a much shorter period of time than baseball.

You said one thing for sure that is different Greg, it is a much shorter period of time, with 10x as many games to impact your season. Right now I am in one of those long dog fights and unlike Football where the last place team rarely has an impact on your standings, I just had two points lost because teams out of it passed me in key categories. That is one big difference I can think of.

Greg, If this Million Dollar Bonus for winning the Daily Double in Fantasy Football goes over as Big as it Looks it will, is there any thought about a Special Prize for the individual that could possibly pull off the Amazzzing Feat of winning both the NFFC and NFBC ? To me this would be the ULTIMATE Fantasy Sports Accomplishment.

I agree completely! Every year at least 4 (normally more) are dead before the year starts.
