Tell Us Your Draft Position & Thoughts!
Since I don't know most of everyone by their real names...I figure it would be ok to ask what your draft position and thoughts about what you got.
My partner Ico Jones and I (we are both named David) got the #4 pick in NY League #6.
We are both estatic since we lock in one of the "sacred six". I felt if we got picks 7-10 it wouldnt be the end of the world. I think picks 11-14 have to do a lot of homework and research.
Believe me when I say this, anyone with great instincts and a whole lotta luck can win from any seed.
So if you do not happen to like your draft spot, dont go and jump off a building yet. Well unless you are in league NY#6, you can basically hand Ico and I the 5 large now!

Are you're saying that picks 1-10 DON'T have to do as much "homework and research"? I hope they think like that in my league.

Liquid, just want to let you and Ico know I got the #8 pick in Vegas #3 and love it because Gordon got #13. According to his statements the last 6 weeks, he's donating his money to the cause this year, but I doubt that. Don't know how I managed it but I've got Team Gekko in all 3 leagues I'm in.

So you get another head start. You really don't have any excuses for not beating me. I've said from the start that the lower-end draft slots are bad. I'm not saying that I can't do well, but I have to get real lucky with my picks.

I managed to escape Gaston as I left Myrtle Beach Friday and drove to my home in Hammond, LA. to spend a week with my wife and daughter and get ready for Vegas. I did call work this morning and they were still there so it probably wasn't too bad. I am however watching Francis and told my payroll clerk to get out of Dodge and don't look for me next week if Francis turns toward SC. I stayed for Charley and know better than to drive back for Francis.

Gekko -- you hedge better than Larry Brown.
"I didn't pick this team" = "I got a bad draft spot"
If you lose it's not your fault, if you win you overcame the odds with your management genius.

Hello. My name is Lee Scoresby. I come from Texas, like flying hot-air balloons, being eaten by talking polar bears and fantasy football.

I am referring to the general fantasy world consensus that a large majority of leagues will be picking one of the six RB's deemed sacred in slots #1 - 6, and 7-10 has 3 RB's, a WR and a QB to pull them through without really guessing too much. In picks #11-14, you maybe looking at some RB's that may or may not fair as good as a first round draft pick should. But then again that is why we play the games and one or even a few can do better than the sacred six RB's.
At any rate, good luck!
